NOTORIOUS GANG OF ROBBERS/SNATCHERS BUSTED AND ONE MOTORCYCLES & TEN MOBILE PHONES RECOVERED

     The AATS Staff of South-West District has arrested one Robber/Snatcher along with two Children in Conflict with Law (CCLs) and recovered one stolen Motorcycle & 10 Mobile Phones.
Ø  Shahrukh @ Lala S/o Noor Mohd R/o B-175, Sahyog Vihar, Matiyala New Delhi, age-18 years.
BRIEF:-
     On 01/07/16, secret information was received that the criminals will assemble near Power House, Sec-1, Red Light, Dwarka, New Delhi to commit crime. A trap was laid down at that place and accused Shahrukh @ Lala was apprehended along with two delinquents. One stolen motorcycle was recovered from their possession. The said motorcycle was found stolen vide FIR No. 000227/16 dated 03/01/16 U/S-379 IPC, from the area of PS Najafgarh. During interrogation, they disclosed their involvement in four dozen incidents of Robbery and Snatching.
MODUS OPERANDI

               Accused persons used to rob victims by using their arms to choke the respiratory system of the victims. They used stolen motorcycle to target those women who walked by the road side alone near the market and school.

RECOVERY

Ø    One Stolen Hero Honda Hunk Motorcycle.                               
Ø    Ten Mobile Phones.
Ø    The accused persons disclosed their involvement in four dozen cases of robbery and snatching.

A team comprising of Insp. Raj Kumar, SI Manoj Bhatia, ASI Shiv Kumar, HC Partap, HC Vinod Kumar, HC Jitender, Ct. Arjun, Ct. Rohitash, Ct Jagat, Ct. Vikas & Ct. Anil was constituted under overall supervision of ACP/Ops. Sh. Jagjit Sangwan was constituted.
               Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to arrest the co-accused and to affect more recoveries and to ascertain their involvements in other cases.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
