KIDNAPPED BOY 16 YEARS OLD RECOVERED FROM SRINAGAR, J&K BY THE POLICE OF NORTH EAST DISTRICT
On 09.05.2015, complainant Rekha Devi W/o Ashok
Kumar R/o Khajuri Khas Delhi, alleged that her son aged 15 years went for
tuition at 6 PM and did not return home till 8 PM. The family searched the boy
at their own level but found no clue regarding the boy. The mother of the boy
aged 15 years came to PS Khajuri khas. A case vide FIR No 489/15 u/s 363 IPC
dated 09.05.2015 P.S Khajuri khas was registered and Investigation was taken up
by SI Manish Tyagi.
TEAM
A team consisting of SI Manish Tyagi, ASI Umesh under the leadership of Insp.
Yogesh Malhotra SHO/Khajuri Khas under the close supervision of Sh Narendra Chawla
ACP Khajuri Khas. The team worked relentlessly to trace the boy.
INVESTIGATION
During the investigation it was difficult to trace
the child as he was not having any mobile phone or any other clue. The team
struck the idea to check the facebook accounts of all facebook users by the
name of boy. While going through various facebook accounts, SI Manish Tyagi
came across a facebook account which seems to be related to the boy. It also
came to know that the boy also chatted with his elder brother Pawan at facebook
chat from November 2015 to April 2016 but did not reveal his location.
Therefore technical search was made and the details of the user were obtained. With
the help from the Cyber Cell, Crime Branch Delhi Police was also obtained. The
address was traced to a person who was resident of Srinagar, J&K
A team consisting of SI Manish Tyagi, ASI Umesh
Singh from PS Khajuri Khas and HC Rajesh and Ct Gagan from crime branch left
for Srinagar valley. While proceeding to Dalal Mohalla ASI Umesh was hit by a
stone and sustained injury. The incident did not deter the team to achieve
their goal and ultimately the team headed by SI Manish Tyagi reached to the
Child.
On interacting with the
child, the team learnt that the child ran away from the house as his father
rebuked him for not studying upto his satisfaction. During this period the
child worked as waiter in marriages and reached Srinagar. The child was working
with a rice merchant Ishteyak Ahmad who is a permanent resident of Srinagar.
