MURDER CASE OF P.S. ANAND PARVAT SOLVED WITHIN HOURS: TWO ARRESTED

With the arrest of Shashi Bhushan, aged 32 years  and  Pankaj aged 30 years both r/o  Anand Parvat, Delhi, Central District police has solved a murder case of Radhey Shyam r/o Anand Parvat, Delhi who was murdered on 03/07/2016 in the area of P.S. Anand Parvat, Delhi.

 INCIDENT

            On 03-07-2016, at about 10:30 p.m., a PCR call was received at PS Anand Parvat, Delhi regarding quarrel at Gali No. 4, Industrial Area, Anand Parvat, Delhi.   The police team rushed to the spot and found that the injured person has already been taken to Lady Harding Hospital by PCR Van.  The police team reached the Lady Harding Hospital. Later on, the injured expired during treatment in the Hospital. Immediately, a case vide FIR No. 316/16 u/s 302/34 IPC was registered at PS Anand Parvat, Delhi in this regard and investigation was taken up.

             

Team

            A team comprising of Inspr. Sehdev Rana, SHO/Anand Parvat, Inspr. Darshan Lal, ATO/Anand Parvat, SI Jagroop Singh, SI Uttam Kumar, SI Manish, HC Siya Ram, HC Bhishm Swaroop, Ct. Vijay, Ct. Nitesh, Ct. Vijender and Ct. Ravi was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Raj Kumar Bhardwaj, ACP/Patel Nagar / Central District.

INVESTIGATION/INTERROGATION

            During investigation, it was revealed that two persons namely Shashi Bhushan and Pankaj are involved in this crime. Sources were deployed in the area and local intelligence was also gathered to nab the culprits.  Several raids were conducted at the possible hideouts of the accused persons. On the basis of secret information, accused Shashi Bhushan was apprehended by the Central District police team near Railway Lines, Jakhira in the area of P.S. Anand Parvat, Delhi.   At the instance of accused Shashi Bhushan, co-accused Pankaj was also apprehended by the police team. The weapon of offence i.e. two wooden sticks were recovered at their instance.

            During interrogation, accused Shashi Bhushan disclosed that he is working as a labourer in the industrial area, Anand Parvat, Delhi and co-accused Pankaj deals in Jeans at Tank Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi. On 03-07-2016, at about 10:00 p.m., Shashi Bhushan and Pankaj consumed liquor in the factory. After that they were going to their houses.  When they reached near Gali No. 4, industrial area, Anand Parvat, Delhi, they noticed that one person namely Radhey Shyam was getting drenched in rain. A scuffle took place with him over a petty issue. Enraged on this, they took out the wooden sticks and in anger, hit the same on his head. After that they fled from the spot on the motorcycle. At the instance of co-accused Pankaj, one Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle was recovered.

            Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

PROFILE

1.      Shashi Bhushan r/o  Anand Parvat, Delhi is 32 years old. He is illiterate. He is working as a labourer in a factory in the area of P.S. Anand Parvat, Delhi.

Pankaj r/o  Anand Parvat, Delhi is 30 years old and has studied up to 10^th class. He deals in Jeans at Tank Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi.
