2 NIGERIAN NATIONALS ARRESTED FOR CHEATING

Crime Branch has apprehended 2 notorious cheats namely Austin Steven (32 yrs) s/o Ujeh r/o Delta Street, Lagos, Nigeria (Present address: 891/8, Ward No.8, Arjun Niwas, Mehrauli, Delhi) and George David (28 Yrs) s/o Chukuwunweke r/o 6, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria (Present address: Muslim Hotel, Islam Colony, Ward No.6, Mehrauli, Delhi) who were wanted in case FIR No. 613/16 u/s 467/471/406/420 IPC r/w 66 IT Act, PS Kranti Chowk, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
INCIDENT
In the incident, one lady of Aurangabad, Maharashtra posted her resume at website in search of job. Accused persons contacted her after going through her resume. They offered her a highly paid job in a multinational company and told her that they would also provide her money for establishing her office. After some time, the victim received several calls from custom officials of IGI airport, informing that they had received a parcel in her name, containing cash amount which is violation of FEMA and she will be arrested for this illegal act and asked her to deposit money in bank accounts for settlement of the issue to release the parcel. She had deposited Rs.15 lac in different bank accounts but accused persons kept asking for more money. They threatened to implicate her in FEMA. Hence she lodged a case vide FIR No. 613/16 u/s 467/471/406/420 IPC r/w 66 IT Act,  at PS Kranti Chowk, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

OPERATION
A team of Aurangabad Police arrived in Delhi and sought assistance of Crime Branch. Hence, a team of ISC, Crime Branch led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, consisting of Insp. P.C. Yadav, SI Mandeep, HCs Ajay, Dinesh Yadav, Narender, Dinesh, Cts Rakesh Kumar, Deepak, Rahul, Naresh, Brijesh Pandey, Ravinder and Ravi under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh was formed to assist Maharashtra Police. Mobile number of accused was traced, on verification, the same was found registered on Face Book in the name of Austin Steven. Accused had uploaded his photograph near a car. The owner of the car was tracked and enquired. On questioning she told that she is an event manager who organizes parties for African National in different hotels and resorts in Chhatarpur area. Showing photo of accused to the lady she could not identify the accused. Hence, inquiry made from several persons which resulted into the arrest of the accused. Mobile phones and SIM cards used in the crime have been recovered.
PROFILE:
1.            Austin Steven came to India on medical visa in 2012 for treatment but did not go back. He was also overstaying in India and indulging in nefarious activities.

2.            George David arrived in India in 2012 on medical visa for treatment of kidney stone. He did National Diploma in Food Science and Technology from Nigeria.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
