FOUR CRIMINALS OF ‘SALMAN TYAGI GANG’ ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH

Crime Branch has arrested the most wanted criminal Salman Tyagi (26 yrs) s/o Kaluwa Tyagi r/o WZ-72/74, Near Badi Masjid Tihar Village, Delhi alongwith his three associates namely Mohd Shaukat @ Shakeel@ Shaukat Ali@ Parvej Shaukat (21 yrs) s/o Mohd Haleem r/o  148, Sanik Enclave, Gali-7, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Sansi Wali Gali, Delhi, Rajjudin@ Anna @ Raju (30 yrs) s/o Shaukat r/o Near Madarsa, Mewati Mohalla, Dadri, UP and Somin @ Irshad (40 yrs) s/o Deen Mohd r/o Vill- Kidvai Nagar, Dadri, UP. Salman Tyagi is a “Bad Character” of PS Hari Nagar and was externed from Delhi for two years. He was involved in more than 9 cases of murder, attempt to murder, rape and robbery.
 TEAM AND OPERATION: -
South Western Range of Crime Branch has been keeping a close watch on the activities of criminals active in West Delhi. It was revealed that Salman Tyagi, who is a BC of PS Hari Nagar and has been externed from Delhi for two years is still operating his gang in West Delhi.  On 17/07/16, a specific information was received by HC Kuldeep Singh that Salman Tyagi alogwith his associates would come to Dwarka to commit some crime. A team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, consisting of Inspr. P.C. Khanduri, SIs Data Ram, Arvind, Rajbir Singh, ASI Yudhvir Singh, HCs Satender Sehrawat, Virender, Dinesh, Bijender, Ravinder, Anil, Hanuman, Cts Rajeev Sahrawat, Sandeep Dabas, Saurabh Saini, Parveen, under the close supervision of  DCP Bhisham Singh and overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas was immediately constituted to apprehend him.
Acting on the information, a trap was laid near Golf Course Road, Sector-23 B, Dwarka. When Salman Tyagi alongwith his associates arrived at the given place in an Alto car, they were asked to surrender. Instead of surrendering, Salman Tyagi whipped out a loaded pistol and pointed it at the team in order to escape. However, ASI Yudhvir Singh and HC Kuldeep Singh by displaying courage and presence of mind, overpowered him. The other three associates were also successfully apprehended by the team. The pistol recovered from Salman Tyagi was found to contain three live cartridges.  From the search of Rajuddin@ Anna, one loaded magazine with three live cartridges was recovered.

INTERROGATION & PROFILES:-
(1)         Salman Tyagi originally belongs to Hapur, UP. His studied up to 6 th class. However, he came in bad company and left school. Initially, he was involved in petty crimes and brawl in the locality. Later, he committed various crimes including murder, attempt to murder, and even rape. In 2015, he was externed from Delhi for two years. However, he again reorganized his gang and started taking protection money from the illegal satta operators in the area.  He had created terror in West Delhi and no one dared to file complaint against him. During ‘Eid’ he has even pasted posters having his photographs on the walls in the area. He is addicted to Ganja and commits crime under its influence. He is very desperate and doesn’t hesitate to open fire even upon police team.

(2)         Mohd Shaukat @ Shakeel @ Shaukat Ali @ Parvej Shaukat is born and brought up in Uttam Nagar area. He studied upto 12th standard.  He was addicted to gambling and drinking. He is wanted in two cases of PS Uttam Nagar and had been declared proclaimed offender in these cases.

(3)         Rajjudin@ Anna@ Raju was born in Ghonda, Mauzpur, Delhi. He is illiterate and used to work in a shop.  In 2008, he was arrested in a murder case. After 3 years, he came out of jail and within 1 month of release from jail, he again committed murder and again was sent to jail. After coming out of jail in 2015, he met with Salman Tyagi and joined his gang.
He is previously arrested in two cases of murder in Dadri, UP, which are being verified.
(4)         Somin @ Irshad studied up to 9th standard from a public school in his village. He fell in bad company and started committing thefts and other crimes. He has been arrested in about 20 cases in Dadri, UP. He came out of Dasna jail about 2 months back and joined Salman Tyagi gang to earn quick money.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
