US Foreign Secretary’s wonder if Delhites travel by boats highlights capital shame of Delhi Government’s corruption and inefficiemcy

Leader of Opposition Shri Vijender Gupta today said that it is capital shame that the visiting US Foreign Secretary was compelled  to wonder if Delhites travel by boats to reach their destinations.  He said that the Delhi Government is solely responsible for such mocking comments by foreign dignitaries in context of today’s unprecedented flooding and traffic jams at majority of roads and colonies. He said that the Kejriwal Government was fighting tooth and nail for the “most efficient PWD Secretary” till yesterday who also happened to be the PWD Engineer-in-Chief. He alongwith the Government turned out to be disastrous failure.



Leader of Opposition said that it is worrying that the PWD Minsiter Satyender Jain and AAP leaders are passing the buck to other agencies without any remorse in place of doing honest introspection to prevent recurrence of such damaging situation in future. The main cause of flooding is non-removal of silt from nallahas by PWD. Before the onset of monsoon, the Government made tall claims about monsoon preparedness. But all these claims proved to be hollow today.
Nearly three crore people residing in and around of Delhi suffered due to corruption, inefficiency and apathy in the PWD Department of the  Delhi Government under Jain’s leadership.

Mr. Gupta presented some photographs to show that the PWD nallahas were cleaned only on papers. It has led to misappropriation of funds to the tune of crores of rupees.Najafgarh nallaha has not been desilted leading to traffic jam in Delhi and adjoining areas, particularly Gurugram.The same situation prevails in 16 other nallahas which have been listed amongst the most polluted nallahas in the country.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
