Two Gangsters Including Kingpin Shiva Suri and His Associate Avdesh @ Gabbar Arrested

A team of Special Cell led by Insp. Attar Singh under the supervision of Sh. Sandeep Byala, ACP has arrested kingpin Shiva Suri (age-22 years) s/o Suresh Suri r/o B-55, Sanik Nagar, Nawada, Delhi and his associate namely Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar (age-27 years) s/o Rajender Singh r/o RZ-193, Jain Colony, Part-1, Uttam Nagar, Delhi on 14-03-2015. One pistol of 09 MM alongwith 04 live cartridges has been recovered from possession of Shiva Suri. Another pistol of .32 bore alongwith 03 live cartridges has also been recovered from possession of Avdesh @ Gabbar.  A case FIR No.   21/15 dated 15/03/2015 u/s 25 Arms Act PS Special Cell, Delhi has been registered in this regard.  With the arrest of above two gangsters, a sensational case of double murder pertaining to PS Bindapur has been solved.

Brief facts of double murder case of PS Bindapur are that following a PCR call, Local Police found two bullet ridden bodies on the  roof top of house of Shiva Suri in Mansaram Park, Delhi on 11/03/2015. The dead were identified as Bijender @ Bidi s/o Phool Singh r/o B-84, Mansaram Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and Ghanshyam @ Ashu s/o Ashwani r/o S-13 Budh Vihar, Delhi who had been shot dead in filmy style. More than 10 rounds were found fired by the accused persons. 08 live cartridges and 06 empties of .32 caliber and 06 live cartridges and 02 empties of 09 MM were found scattered on  the spot. Case FIR No. 354/15 dated11/03/2015 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Bindapur, Delhi was registered in this regard.

Sleuths of Special Cell deployed their sources and developed information about persons involved in the above heinous crime. Painstaking efforts in this regard resulted in arrest of two notorious members of gang including kingpin Shiva Suri. On receipt of a secret information on 14/03/2015, a trap was laid near Agarsen Engineering college, Rohini, Delhi where both the desperados were arrested. Two illegal firearms alongwith seven live ammunition were recovered from their possession. During sustained interrogation, it revealed that both the deceased persons were desperate criminals of the area. Bijender @ Bidi was previously involved in 12 criminal cases whereas Ghanshyam @ Ashu had 16 criminal cases of robbery, dacoity, kidnapping, burglary, extortion, arms act, attempt to murder etc against him in various police stations of Delhi.

Accused Shiva Suri and deceased Bijender @ Bidi were co-accused in two cases in the year 2012 in Delhi. Both had kidnapped one Suraj Kumar, an employee of Tata Croma, who was robbed of his car and personal belonging including cash at gunpoint in the area of PS Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi. Both had fired upon one Bijender Singh, a business man in a road rage case in the area of Dwarka, Delhi. Shiva Suri was released on bail in above two cases in October 2013, however, Bijender @ Bidi came out from jail only about 02 months ago. He came to know that Shiva Suri had earned enough money by carrying out extortions and property dealing by using his name.  Upon his release from the jail,  he started pressurizing Shiva Suri to give him a share in the so earned money. Shiva Suri paid Rs. 2.5 lacs to Bijender but his demands kept on growing. Shiva Suri grew tired of constant demands of money by Bijender and his associate Ghanshyam who again threatened Shiva Suri on 11/03/2015 of dire consequences if he did not pay up. Shiva Suri alongwith his associates namely Pradeep Rana, a resident of village Ghevra, Delhi, Nitin Narula @ Appu and Avdesh @ Gabbar planned to eliminate Bijender and Ghanshyam. As per plan both the deceased were invited by Shiva Suri at his house for party and dinner and also for sorting out the matter amicably by talking.  When they arrived at the house of Shiva Suri on 11/03/2015, they were greeted by his  above three associates. After a small discussion, a heated argument broke out between  Shiva Suri and Bijender. As per plan both Bijender and Ghanshyam were shot dead by Shiva Suri and his associates namely Nitin Narula @ Appu, Avdesh @ Gabbar and Pradeep Rana. More than 10 rounds were fired.

Arrested Shiva Suri is previously involved in 03 criminal cases of attempt to murder, robbery, kidnapping, assault, arms act etc. Avdesh @ Gabbar is also has 03 criminal cases against him.  Pradeep Rana is a contract killer and he is trigger happy who fires at the slightest provocation. Pradeep Rana alongwith Nitin Narula had shot dead one cable operator Satish in the area of Bawana in the year 2009 for extortion. Pradeep Rana is wanted in yet another murder case of one Daljeet.

Shiva Suri :-  He belongs to a middle class family. He passed his 12^th class from Govt. School, Vikas puri and presently he is doing BA Pass from DU correspondence. His father used to run a motor cycle repair shop. Shiva has one elder brother namely Neelesh who is a coach in Gym. Shiva, a neighbor of Bijender was motivated and encouraged by him and accompany him during commission of robberies in Delhi.

Avdesh Yadav:- Avdesh (age-27 years) belongs to a poor family. His father is a small time property dealer and his mother is home maker. Avdesh has two brothers and three sisters. He has passed 11^th standard in 2009 from Open School. He is neighbor of Shiva Suri. He developed friendship with him and he used to remain with him in the evenings. He is previously involved in three criminal cases. He alongwith Shiva and his two other associates planned and executed killing of Bijender @ Bidi and his associate Ghanshyam @ Ashu.
