LEADER OF DEMANDS UNCONDITIONAL APOLOGY FROM KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT FOR MISBEHAVIOUR TOWARDS SENIOR MEDIA PERSONS

Leader of Opposition, Sh. Vijender Gupta today, demanded unconditional apology from Kejriwal Government for its humiliation of senior editors and journalists when they questioned them on their absence from Delhi and deaths due to dengue and chikungunya.  He said that it is regrettable that threats are being meted out to journalists on behalf of AAP leaders.  He said that CM Kejriwal and his Ministers Kapil Mishra and Satyender Jain could not contain their anger and frustration when cornered on their absence from Delhi and life threatening situation on health front in the city.

By making public the phone number of Deepak Chaursia, Editor in Chief of India News, Delhi Government has underlined its malignity towards media.  Senior journalists Shekhar Gupta became victim of Kejriwal twit for his uncomfortable questions on chikungunya deaths and his campaigning in other States.   The attitude towards correspondents from News 24 and Zee TV is highly deplorable.

Since coming to power, AAP has been regularly humiliating media persons.  Even the Supreme Court had to issue stay order on implementation of AAP Government’s circular outlining its decision to file defamation cases against media organizations for communicating news that damaged reputation of CM, Ministers and the Government.. The restriction on entry to Delhi Secretariat before 3.00 P.M. still continues to be a symbol of media humiliation.

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
