Human Trafficking and Rape Case Worked Out by North East Police
With the
arrest of accused persons namely (1) Shahjahan Molliya @ Bapi s/o Abdul
Jubar Molliya r/o Majampur Uttarpara, North 24 Pargana, West Bengal, age 27 years,
(2) Nafees @ Sameer s/o Shamsher Ahmed r/o Kabir Nagar, Delhi, age 28 years
and (3) Accused woman r/o
Kabir Nagar, Delhi, age 27 years, the sensational case of Human Trafficking and Rape has been solved in which a young girl was lured from West Bengal with promise of marriage, but was being pushed into prostitution.

On 24/05/15 at
12:10 AM a PCR call was received that one woman was being beaten by 2-3 boys. In
PS- Welcome SI Ombir Singh along with the staff reached at the spot i.e. 2nd
Floor of H. No. C-16/2, Gali No. 16, Kabir Nagar, Delhi and found a girl aged
about 19 years in very scared condition. The girl was not able to speak or
understand Hindi or English.
IO took the girl to GTB Hospital with L/Ct. and got her medical examination conducted. On 24/05/15, with the help of NGO, counseling of victim girl was done and after counseling, the girl stated that her father had died and her mother is residing in her native village. Her mother works as tailor at home. She was given Mob. No. of one Bapi @ Shahjahan by one neighbor, who lives near her house in her village. She told her that he is a good boy and will marry her. She started talking him and he promised her for marriage. He forced her to come to Delhi. Initially she refused to come he again promised and lured her for marriage. So she left her house with whereby Bapi on 19/05/15 and they reached Old Delhi Railway Station on 20/05/15. After that Bapi took her to a Hotel near Jama Masjid and during the night he made forcible physical relation with her on the pretext of marriage. Next morning he brought her to one Raju’s house and they stayed there for two nights. During the stay, Raju caught hold of her hand and asked her to make physical relation with him. When she refused, she was slapped and beaten by him. She was being forced by Bapi, Raju and his wife into prostitution. After that Bapi brought her to another house, that of a woman at Welcome, Delhi, where Bapi, woman, Sameer and Irshad (friend of Sameer) tried to force her into prostitution and when she denied, all of them beat her up again. She also talked to neighbour telephonically, who also told her to give into prostitution. Irshad also tried to make physical relations with her. Her statement was recorded with the help of NGO/Interpreter and Case FIR No. 276/15, U/s 323/354/366/368/370/376/120-B IPC was registered on 24/05/15 at PS Welcome.

During the
course of investigation medical examination of girl was conducted at GTB
Hospital Doctor also opined that there are signs of use of force and sexual
violence. During investigation accused Bapi and Sameer above were arrested on
the same day after painstaking efforts. On
25/05/15 accused woman was also arrested in this case and during interrogation
it was learnt that she is a sex worker. During further investigation of the
case it came to light that it was a well organized plan for trafficking
innocent girls who belongs to rural areas of West Bengal by luring them on
promises of marriage and then forcing them into prostitution.
The role of
accused persons is as under:-
(1)
Bapi- Studied up to 8th
class. He brought the girl from West Bengal to sell her in Delhi. He helped other
accused persons to force the victim into prostitution.
(2)
Nafees @ Sameer- Studied up to
8th class. He provided
his house to keep the girls and push them into prostitution and helped other
accused persons.
(3)
Accused woman - Studied up to
10th class and is working
as a sex worker at G. B. road. She provided her house to keep the girl. She also
helped other accused persons force them into prostitution.
Other associates – Irshad, Raju and woman.
