Dreaded Gangster Deepak Gautam @ Pandit Arrested

A dreaded Gangster Deepak Gautam @ Pandit wanted in many cases of Murder & Attempt to murder of South & South East Districts has been arrested along with 04 other members of the gang. With his arrest a case of murder of Raju Ramakant Rao @ Raju Baba s/o Madhusudan R/o A-51 Flat No. 4 Panchsheel Vihar Malviya Nagar, New Delhi has been solved in a very short span of 4 hours. A number of country-made firearms and ammunitions have also been recovered from the criminals.

On the intervening night of 22/23.08.2015, SHO Greater Kailash Insp. Sandeep Ghai was on patrolling duty in his official gypsy along with Inspector Investigation Anil Malik, Driver Ct. Rajinder No./SE and Operator Ct. Sanjeev No./SE. At about 2.15 AM, when they reached near Sadiq Nagar Red Light on BRT, 4-5 persons were found continuously firing on a person who was lying on ground. Seeing the police gypsy, all of them sat in the Scorpio and fled from the spot towards B Block Greater Kailash-I. SHO Insp. Sandeep Ghai along with staff chased the Scorpio and also informed control room through wireless set to close all the escaping roads by putting barricades. In the meanwhile, the criminals entered the main road of B Block which was closed at the other end. At the dead end of the road, they rammed their vehicle in to the Iron Gate in order to break it open. Taking advantage of the darkness, all the assailants jumped the railing towards S Block GK-I and vanished. SHO immediately alerted all the patrolling staff and the entire area was cordoned off. In order to carry out extensive search of the area 15 teams were constituted from the staff from the sub-division L.Nagar. Entire operation was spearheaded by Sh. Deepak Yadav,IPS ACP/Lajpat Nagar under the supervision of Addl. DCP-1/SED Sh.Vijay Kumar,IPS and under overall direction and control of Sh. Mandeep Singh Randhawa,IPS DCP/SED. SHO/Greater Kailash Insp. Sandeep Ghai D-734, Investigation/Insp. Anil Malik, ATO/Insp. Dalip Kumar aided by SI Sanjay Bhatt D-310, SI Braham Dutt D-4111, ASI Pradeep Kumar 2541/SE, ASI Jagbir Singh No. 4122/SE, HC Vijender 2060/SE, HC Ashwani 345/SE, HC Satya Narain 361/SE, Ct. Sanjeev No. 797/SE, Ct. Rajinder No.  2824/SE, Ct. Jai Narain No. 3727/SE, Ct. Amit Rathi No. 1573/SE, Ct. Gursharan No. 3382/SE & Ct. Kailash Chand No. 1665/SE managed to arrest the five out of the six criminals involved in shooting incident after carrying out thorough search and apprehend operation in R and S block of GK-1. A total of 4 Country made loaded pistols with 22 live cartridges were recovered from their possession. 3 mobile phones have also been recovered from their possession. Injured Raju Ramakant Rao was taken to Max Hospital by his friends where he was declared brought dead. A case vide FIR No. 385/2015 dated 23.08.2015 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Greater Kailash has been registered in this regard.
          This incident took place as a consequence of longstanding rivalry between two groups. All the accused arrested in this case are notorious criminals of PS Sangam Vihar & PS Neb Sarai. The deceased Raju Ramakant Rao is also a dreaded criminal involved in various cases of P.S. Ambedkar Nagar,Okhla and Sangam Vihar. A number of murders have already taken place in the past. Rohit who happens to be the close associate of deceased Raju Ramakant was murdered in the year 2014 by Ajay @ Chhotu, Deepak Pandit & his associates. Thereafter, Sumit and Akash @ Akku (associates of Raju Ramakant Rao) were murdered by Ajay Chhotu who was leader of the gang of Deepak Pandit. In order to take revenge Ajay @ Chhottu was allegedly murdered in Tihar jail at the instance of Raju Ramakant Rao. And now this murder of Raju is being seen as an act of revenge by the members of the other gang.
          Details of the arrested criminals are as under:
(a)  Deepak Gautam @ Pandit s/o Sh. Atma Ram Gautam R/o A-98 Sangam Vihar New Delhi, Age 37 Years, involved in 4 cases and wanted in 2 cases.
(b) Kapil Panwar @ Billu @ Mangal @ Arun S/o Raj Pal Choudhary R/o 510 Near Corporation Bank Deoli Village Delhi, Age 21 Years.
(c)  Shankar S/o Durjan Singh R/o B-872 Sangam Vihar New Delhi, Age 28 years.
(d) Shan Mohd. @ Shanu S/o Ali Mohd. R/o B-57 J.J.Camp Tigri New Delhi, Age 23 Years, wanted in 1 case
(e)  Birender @ Bindu @ Tiger s/o Brij Pal Singh r/o H-16 Tigri Colony New Delhi, Age 34 Years, involved and wanted in 2 cases.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
