Desperate Criminal Wanted in Robbery Case Of PS Bharat Nagar Arrested

In a major breakthrough, the Northern Range of Crime Branch has nabbed a notorious criminal namely Jeetender @ Jeetu (35 yrs) s/o Late Om Prakash r/o Wazirpur JJ Colony, Delhi, who was wanted in a robbery case of PS Bharat Nagar. He was evading arrest for last 1½ year and arrest warrant was issued against him. Accused was earlier convicted in 2011 in an attempt to murder case for five years.
        On 07.02.14, one Nitin r/o B-7, JJ Colony, Wazirpur, Delhi reported at PS Bharat Nagar that at about 10.15 pm, when he reached near C-Block, Shauchalya Nirankari Bhawan, Wazirpur JJ Colony, he was forcibly stopped by Jeetu and Pawan who were in the drunken state. Both robbed away his purse containing Rs.10,540/- and injured his left eye with the handle of knife. However, local police succeed in apprehending one of the accused namely Pawan on the same day. A case FIR No.74/14 u/s 392/394/397/34 IPC was registered at PS Bharat Nagar in this regard. The co-accused Jeetender @ Jeetu was evading arrest since then.
          On 12.05.15, secret information was received that accused Jeetender @ Jeetu would come near Inderlok Metro Station, Main Road Shastri Nagar to meet someone. Accordingly, a team of Northern Range led by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta, consisting of ACP Ranbir Singh, Inspr. Ravinder Verma, SIs Narender, Amit Dahiya, ASI Roshan, HCs Harvinder Singh, Yatender, Cts. Satbir and Sonu was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP Ashok Chand to nab him. A trap was laid at the given place of information and the accused Jeetender was apprehended.
During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that he is a bad character of PS Bharat Nagar and was previously involved in 5 cases of attempt to murder, preparation for commission of dacoity, Arms Act. He has studied upto 3rd standard and has two children. He works as a vegetable vendor. In 2011, he was convicted in FIR No.971/06 u/s 307/34 IPC, PS Ashok Vihar for 5 years and later released on bail.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
