One Robber arrested red handed by alert picket staff

On 25-5-15 at about 9.45 PM, the complainant Mehboob S/O Chand Mohammad R/O H. No. 756 Near Bismilla Masjid East Mustafabad Loni Ghaziabad UP was coming from Mouzour chowk in a TSR and going to his home in Loni. When the TSR reached at C-12 Yamuna Vihar, 66 foota road, two boys came on a Motor cycle and robbed his mobile phone. In the meantime Ct. Rajender No. 3263/NE & Ct. Shahid No. 2000/NE,  who were performing duty at Police Picket C-12 Yamuna Vihar rushed to the spot and caught red handed one boy namely Nadim S/O Dr. Mobin @ Nasim R/O 115 Gali No. 1 Old Mustfabad, Delhi, his accomplice namely Junaid managed to escape. The robbed mobile and Motor cycle used in the commission of crime were recovered at the spot.
                   During the investigation, it has been revealed that the recovered Motor cycle was bearing a fake number plate bearing No. DL 5 SAK 9991. On sustained interrogation it has been further revealed that the accused was earlier arrested in a case of snatching in the P.S. Madhu Vihar and had committed several snatching/robberies in the bordering areas of UP & Delhi.

CASES SOLVED
The case FIR No. 628/15 U/S 392/411/34 IPC P.S. Bhajanpura has been worked out.

           They used to snatch the articles such as purses, mobiles or jewellary on the stolen Motor Cycles by affixing the fake number plates on them.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
