Kidnapped Girl Recovered From Daman (UT) and Accused Persons Arrested in Joint Operation of Special Staff and Diu of Outer District Delhi

On 30/09/2014, a person visited PS- Aman Vihar and reported that on 29/09/2014 at about 7.00 AM her daughter age 14 years had gone out of house but she did not return. He tried his best to trace her but in vain. On his complaint a case FIR No. 1065/14 was registered U/S 363 IPC at PS Aman Vihar. All possible efforts were made by local police to trace the kidnapped girl but no clue came to notice. Thereafter investigation of the case was transferred to DIU of Outer District Delhi and Special Staff of Outer District was asked to provide the technical assistance to the IO.     

A team of Special Staff comprising ASI Sudhir, Ct Aman, Ct Rakesh, Ct Vikas, and Ct Sandeep was constituted under the supervision of Inspector K P Malik. During course of investigation it came to light that one person namely Aslam Samad Sheikh was also missing from 29/09/2014. During the search of Aslam Samad Sheikh, it emerged that he had shifted to Daman (UT). The joint team of Special Staff Outer District and DIU Outer District Delhi went to Daman. The team apprehended Aslam Samad Sheikh and recovered kidnapped girl on the instance of Aslam Samad Sheikh.

After recovery statement of victim was recorded and as per statement of victim section 376 IPC and 4 POCSO Act also added in the case.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
