A Sensational Blind Case of Dacoity has been Worked Out With the Arrest of 4 dacoits
 With the arrest of 4  Dacoits, a blind case of Dacoity with arms
and kidnapping vide FIR No. 415/15, dt 11/05/15, U/s 395/397/365/120 B IPC in
P.S. Kotwali, Delhi has been worked out and around 80 Kg silver jewellery
has also been recovered.
On 11/05/2015 Sh. Amit Kumar S/o
sh. Mafat Lal r/o Village Kahoda, PS Taluka Unja, Distt. Mehsana, Gujarat
present address 128, Old Gupta Colony, reported that he is working as manager
cum partner in Rail Cargo Company at 316, Kucha Ghashi Ram, Delhi . On 11/05/2015 he  did sent his workers Govind and Dilip along
with Sunil and Hari Singh Handcart Pullers to collect the delivery of 11 Silver
Jewellery cartons from the Old Delhi Railway Stations which was coming from Rajkot  through Train. At
about 7.40 AM one of his worker namely Ramesh informed him over telephone that
some cartons have been robbed and the robbers also took them in a vehicle.
After that, he reached at his office at about 8.30 AM, where his employee Ram
Kumar S/o Shalig Ram told him that he, along with, Govind, Dilip Sunil and Hari
Singh went to collect the cartons from Old Delhi Railway Station, after
collecting the 11 cartons and loading them on Handcart when they reached at
Queens road, near Teju fashion at about 7.30 AM, suddenly a white colour
Scorpio car overtake and stopped them and two persons alighted from the car,
one of them was in Police uniform having pistol in his hand and they started
threatening to them . Three  more persons
were also present in the car and  they
forcibly boarded  Govind, Dalip,
Sunil  and Hari Singh in their car and
went away. After that, one white colour vehicle came there and 3 persons alighted
from  the vehicle and took 4 cartons of
Jewellery in that vehicle. After  that,
three persons riding on  motor cycle came
there, and they also tried to take away one carton, but failed. After that, one
of the kidnapped person Govind Singh informed in his office that they were left
by the robbers at Noida. Mr Amit checked the goods and found 4 cartons
containing silver jewellery weighing 250-275 Kg were missing out of total 11
cartons. On this statement of Sh. Amit Kumar, 
a case FIR No. 415/15, dt 11/05/15, U/s 395/397/365/120 B IPC got
registered in P.S. Kotwali, Delhi. 
After the registration of case,
two teams under the supervision of Sh. Devesh Mahla (IPS) ACP/Kotwali and Sh.
Subhash Tandon, ACP/OPR cell/North Distt were constituted. One team from Police
Station Kotwali under the leadership of Insp. Pramod Gupta SHO/Kotwali
comprising of SI Sanjay Gupta, I/C PP Red Fort, SI Vishan Kumar, ASI Yogender,
HC Sandeep Chawla 2304/N, HC Devender 530/N, Ct Manjeet 1706/N, Ct Kuldeep
1112/N, Ct Amit 739/N, Ct Amit Bhati 868/N & Ct Rohit 776/N and another
team of Special staff North Distt under the leadership of Insp Dheeraj Kumar
Special Staff made sincere efforts to apprehend the accused persons. 
 The teams conducted various raids in NCR,
Greater Noida area and other suspected places .Consequently, on the basis of
technical and human intelligence the Police team succeeded and apprehended 4
dacoits in this case and also recovered robbed silver jewellery weighing about
80 Kg.
During interrogation, Initially,
the team of P.S. Kotwali  interrogated
all the four abducted persons along with other persons present near by. In
sustained, strict and skilled interrogation by the police team  accused 
Sunil  breakdown and disclosed
whole the story of conspiracy. He disclosed that his nephew Jugnu, along with
Tahir, Sant Raj etc hatched a conspiracy to rob the silver jewellery. He gave
them all the vital information about place, timing and route. Accused Jugnu
& Sunil both were arrested in this case and further interrogated in detail
and, they further disclosed the whereabouts 
of accused Tahir and Sant Raj, living somewhere in Greater Noida &
Bulandshahar, U.P area. The  police teams
constantly conducted raids in day & night time without taking any rest. The
police teams has also done excellent professional skill by getting confidence
of local residents as well as local informers for getting their support to
achieve the aim.  The Police teams
conducted various raids in these suspected areas and  succeeded to arrest  one more accused Harender @ Tori. He was the
person who was wearing police uniform at the time of committing dacoity hence,
Sec. 170 IPC was added in the case. After that, one more accused Chanderpal  was also arrested in this case and 80 Kg robbed
silver jewellery recovered on his instance from Kasna, Greater Noida, U.P.

working as loader handcart puller at Chandni Chowk, Delhi .
2.         Harender Kumar @ Tori @ Sanjeev
S/o  Ashok Kumar  R/o Vill-Dhakpura, P.S. Arniya, Distt-Bulandshahar,
U.P, age- about 48 yrs. He has studied upto 7th-8th class, 
3.         Joginder @ Jugnu S/o Nanak Chand R/o
Vill-Shahipur Kalan, P.S. Khurja, Distt-Bulandshahar, U.P. Present add-
House  of Bobby, gali no. 14, Shaheed
Bhagat Singh Colony, Karawal Nagar, Delhi ,
age-38 yrs. He is illiterate and working as loader handcart puller at Gandhi
Nagar, Delhi .
4.         Chander pal S/o Mam chand R/o H.No. 66,
Prateek Society, Vill-Kasana, G.B. Nagar, U.P, age- 52 yrs. He is an illiterate
dye-maker mechanic having his factory at vill- Kasna in the name of Varsha
Engineering works, from where the robbed property, 80 KG silver jewellery have
been recovered.  
No previous criminal involvement
has come on record against above 4 accused persons.
