Criminal Wanted in Murder Case in 2013 Arrested

Crime Branch has arrested a criminal namely Ahmad Hussain @ Junaid (23 yrs) s/o Mohd. Maseer r/o Vill Bhalgore, Distt. Katihar, Bihar who was wanted in a murder committed in the vicinity of New Delhi Railway Station reported vide FIR No. 135/13 dated 06.08.2013 u/s 302 IPC, PS Crime Branch. He was carrying a reward of Rs.50,000/- on his arrest.
        A team of Central Range led by ACP Ravinder Tyagi comprising of Inspector Subhash Vats, SI Harsh Vardhan, ASI Vinod Kumar, Cts Ajay Kumar and Ghanshyam under the supervision of DCP M. A. Rizvi, was constituted to apprehend accused Ahmad Hussain @ Junaid, who was wanted in case FIR No. 135/13 dated 06.08.2013 u/s 302 IPC, PS Crime Branch.
          On 21.05.2015, a team lead by SI Harsh Vardhan went to the native village of accused to apprehend him. However, it was found that Ahmad has already left for Delhi. The lead was further developed and more information was gathered. On 24.05.2015, on a specific input, the accused was apprehended from New Delhi Railway Station.
          On 03.01.2013, one security guard namely Lalji Pandey s/o Sh. Chet Ram Pandey r/o H. No 16, Staff Quarters, Balram Pur Sugar Mill Colony, Distt. Balram Pur, UP had come to Delhi for depositing water samples on behalf of Balrampur Sugar Mills. On 04.01.2013, after depositing water samples, he informed his wife telephonically that he was returning, but he did not reach home.  She made a complaint to local police of PS Kotwali, Balram Pur, UP. On 11.01.2013, UP police traced Ahmed Hussain @ Junaid and his associate namely Kamrul Hussain who were using mobile phone of Lalji Pandey. They were examined and relieved after interrogation by Balram Pur police.  
          On 12.01.2013, dead body of an unknown male was found under Jahangirpuri Metro Station which was later on identified that of Lalji Pandey. The leads from the enquiry done by UP police were further developed. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that Kamrul Hassan @ Raju has already expired. Raids were conducted at the address and possible hide outs of Ahmad Hussain @ Junaid in Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Delhi but he could not be traced.
          During the interrogation, Ahmed Hussain revealed that he had worked in a factory of chain buckles of carry bags in Azad Market, Delhi. He alongwith Kamrul used to drug and rob the passengers of rickshaw pulled by Kamrul. On 05.01.2013, Lalji Pandey hired Kamrul’s rickshaw from Malka Ganj to Old Delhi Railway Station. On the way, Kamrul administered sedatives to Lalji Pandey in tea. Due to overdose of sedatives, Lalji Pandey became unconscious, they took him to Malka Ganj area and robbed his belongings, mobile phone etc. In the intervening night of 11/12 Jan-2013 when Lalji Pandey did not gain consciousness, they took him in their rickshaw and dumped him under Jahangir Puri Metro Station. Lalji Pandey expired and his dead body was recovered on 12.01.2013.

        He is an illiterate. He had come to Delhi at the age of 16 years and was working as labourer in different factories. At the time of incident, he was working as labourer in the chain buckle factory of Azad market. He got married in the year 2014.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
