Press Statement by Sr. B.J.P. Leader
Press Statement by Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA Shri Karan Singh Tanwar on Wednesday the 10th of August 2016
Today Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA Shri Karan Singh Tanwar in the press conference drew the attention of Delhi’s Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung towards his letter dated 29.07.2016 wherein it was informed about the petty political vision of Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal and his ill will, insulting and torturing attitude towards opposition parties and not remitting him the the due pension since 2013.
Shri Tanwar through his letter to Hon’ble Lt. Governor expressed shock and surprise that on one side Chief Minister Kejriwal has recommended the 400% increase of salary of his MLA’s to Central Government. They are rubbishly spending from 586 Crore rupees budget meant for false and mis leading advertisements rather spending on the welfare and development of people and state. Such an act on the part of Delhi Government is only for false applause and is confusing the people. The Ex. MLA’s and Ex. Metropolitan Councillors are being deliberately disgraced by denying them their legitimate pensions. Shri Tanwar told that he has not even been paid a single penny of pension since 2013 i.e. 2 years and 8 months.
Shri Tanwar further told that it is not that he has not made any efforts to get the pension and told that he has also written a letter on 22.09.2015 to Delhi Assembly Secretary Shri Prasanna Kumar Suryadevara and personally met him for sorting out grievance but only got promises.
Shri Tanwar with grief told that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is intoxicated of his status. Shri Tanwar told that from reliable sources it is gathered that his legitimate due pension is being withheld on the instructions of Kejriwal so that he can be victimized and his self respect is crushed and to give a clear message to opposition that a leaf cannot move without the wishes of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. It is very shameful that Chief Minister can fell upto this level. This is fit proverb “Bandar ko mil gayi haldi ki ghant aur who Pansari bun baitha”
Shri Tanwar apaprised that he was Councillor Delhi Cantt Baoard from 1979 to 1983, Metropolitan Cuncillor from 1983to 1990 and elected as MLA Delhi Legislative Assembly during 1993-1998, 2003-2008 and 2008-2013 and according to rule he is entitled for Rs.25,000/- pension per month and approx. Rs.8.00 Lakh pension amount is due to him but has not received a single penny till date. Neither due pension has been remitted nor has Rs.1.00 Lakh medical reimbursement been given since 2013. This is live example of oppression and vendetta of Kejriwal’s government.
Shri Tanwar further told that if such a maltreatment and discrimination is being done with BJP Leader then it can be easily imagined that how Old aged, widows and handicapped related to opposition parties are subjected to get their due pensions.
Shri Tanwar alleged that Kejriwal government is working in intoxication of power and discriminately. To hide their vileness, every time they use to scream Modi-Modi just to astray the people through their this gimmick. Kejriwal has gone to Himachal for his health and mental treatment. His Ministers and MLA’s are busy in collecting the money and people are crying for Electricity, scarcity of Water and restoration of developmental works. Due to these works, Aam Aadmi Party has exposed their secret of utterance and trowel.
At last Shri Tanwar warned Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and told to stop his superficial deeds and attempt to crush the opposition parties other wise “Eent ka Jawab Pathar se diya jayega” Shri Tanwar asked and demanded Delhi’s Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung to intervene and advise Kejriwal to work within the limits of Constitution and Law because now Hon’ble High Court has also grilled and directed Delhi Government to work within Legal frame.
