Press Statement by Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC Shri Karan Singh Tanwar on Monday

Today Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA Shri Karan Singh Tanwar through press release told that last week he alongwith delegation of Mandir Committee met the Central Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar to apprise about the forcefully seizure of years old civilian Hanuman Mandir at Gaopinath Bazar, Delhi Cantt by Station Commander Brig. Jai Singh on gun point.
It is noticeable that above mentioned ancient Hanuman Mandir was built by civilian population 70 years ago in Gopinath Bazar.  Day to day affairs like Puja and other religious works & maintenance work of the Mandir is being looked after by Civil population of Shree Hanuman Mandir Samiti (Regd.).  This ancient temple has great significance and faith not amongst Delhi Cantt area but in all over Delhi.  The devotees visiting this Mandir have great faith and their all wishes are fulfilled and not only this all their problems are solved merely by darshans of Shri Hanuman ji.
Shri Tanwar told Central Defence Minister with great sorrow and surprise that on 01.05.2016 Station Commander Brig. Jai Singh with the help of army jawaans seized the donation box and some of the places in Mandir and forcefully evicted female devotees and locked the main gate of Mandir.  Within no time large number of civil population gathered at Gopinath Bazar and on seeing the angst & anger of people and deteriorating law & order situation, Station Commander opened the locks and left along with his soldiers.  On seeing the Full and dogmatic dictatorship of Station Commander, a detailed and strong letter dated 06.05.2016 mentioning all the above activities was written to Central Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar but on 08.05.2016 at 3.00 AM but again Brig. Jai Singh alongwith his jawaans arrived in the Mandir and forcefully occupied the Temple and shunted out all the Devotees & Priest and the matter was immediately reported to the local Police.  Brig. Jai Singh planted the Priest of Army and handed over the operations of Mandir to Army Jawaans.
Shri Tanwar told that whenever local people meet Brig. Jai Singh over the Temple issue they are being told that this Temple is situated on Army Land whereas this reply of Brig. Jai Singh is totally false and fabricated. It is a known fact that in all over India No Building Plans are sanctioned for Mandir, Mosque, Church or Gurudwaras etc. and these structures exists on Govt. Land viz. DDA, MCD, PWD, NDMC, CPWD and Forest Department.
Shri Tanwar told that B.J.P respects the Army and are proud of our Army but Station Commander Brig. Jai Singh is ruining the glorious image of Army by playing in the hands of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. Before his tenure in the Cantt area none of the Army Personel has done such a disgraceful act by which the image of the Army has spoiled.  There is a atmosphere of fear and dread amongst people due to his such disgraceful act.
Shri Tanwar further told that for the last so many years the management of the temple is being looked after by BJP supporters but due to close collusion with Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Cantt MLA Surinder Singh Brig. Jai Singh, took the possession of the temple from civilians.  This is a clear cut motive to defame the BJP and BJP led Central Government and the Members of dominant BJP in the Delhi Cantonment Board and BJP in the eyes of Public.

At last Shri Tanwar demanded for suspension of Station Commander Brig. Jai Singh from Central Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar and high level investigation in the matter.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
