LOP URGES LG TO DISMISS DCW CHAIRPERSON FOR ILLEGAL APPOINTMENTS

Leader of Opposition Shri Vijender Gupta today demanded that Chairperson of Delhi Women Commission, Swati Maliwal must be dismissed for making 85 appointments with hefty remuneration in the Commission in an unauthorized and  illegal manner causing heavy recurring  burden on Government exchequer.

Mr Gupta said that the work load for creation of these posts has not been justified.  Most of these posts have been filled up to oblige at the cost of Government revenue.   He said that these appointments have been made on the basis political and personal consideration without following the rules laid down for appointments in DCW. .  Since the day of her appointment, she has reduced DCW to a political arena.
Mr. Gupta said that all the 85 appointees are AAP workers and personal acquaintances of AAP leaders.  Prabha Sahai Kaur has been appointed as Legal Consultant at a monthly salary of Rs, 35000/- P.M.  She happens to be the daughter of AAP senior leader Shri H.S. Phoolka.   Promila Gupta has been appointed as Member on the monthly remuneration of Rs. 25000/- P.M.  Raj Mangal Pandey, a AAP activists associated with a Child NGO connected with CM Kejriwal has been appointed at monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,00,000/- P.M.
Leader of Opposition pointed out that Swati Maliwal is working on the Agenda of AAP.  She is following pick and choose policy.  As a result Narela resident Soni Mishra was compelled to commit suicide.  

Mr. Gupta said if Swati Maliwal is not removed from her post, the cause of women security and safety will  continue to suffer.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
