DELHI BJP MAHILA MORCHA CELEBRATES TEEJ FESTIVAL WITH GAIETY

New Delhi,  Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha today organised a TEEJ FUNCTION in the lawns of the residence of Union Textile Minister Smt. Smriti Irani who herself joined the Delhi women in the celebrations.
A large of women media persons too joined the function along with Delhi BJP President Shri Satish Upadhyay, Pradesh Organisational General Secretary Shri Sidharthan, Mahila Morcha President Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Senior women leaders Smt. Kanak Aggarwal, Smt. Pooja, Smt. Rekha Gupta, Smt. Rajni Abbi, Smt. Shikha Rai, Smt. Vishaka Salani, Smt. Kiran Chadha, Smt. Sudha Sharma, Smt. Poonam Prashar Jha, Smt. Preety Aggarwal, Civic Leaders Smt. Shashi Prabha Solanki, Smt. Lata Gupta, Smt. Savita Gupta, Smt. Meenakshi and several municipal councillors & party workers.
On the occasion Shri Satish Upadhyay felicitated the women of Delhi. He said that most Hindu festivals have a social significance too. Festival of Teej gives our sisters an opportunity to celebrate at social gatherings.
Union Minister Smt. Smriti Irani shared anecdotes of celebrations of Teej festivity at home during younger days which gave an opportunity of community celebrations for the women.

She said Festivals like Teej & Rakshabandhan give an opportunity to women to feel special. Teej & Rakshabandhan are not religious festivals they are a part of our cultural heritage which has always given a special place to women.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
