Notorious Robbers Arrested by Spl. Staff, North East District

With the arrest of three notorious robbers namely (1) Ayub age 21 yrs s/o Idrish r/o C-13/14 Kabir Nagar Delhi (2) Arif  age 28 yrs s/o Rafiq  r/o near Bismillah Masjid Subhash Mohalla Mauzpur Delhi and (3) Gulam Hussain  age 22 yrs s/o Kallu r/o B-262 Buland Masjid Shastri park Seelampur Delhi, staff of special staff North East District has done excellent work and worked out 15 cases of Robbery and one case of auto-lifting of various Police Station of North East District and East District and recovered two M/cycles, four mobile phones and one country made pistol with one  live cartridge from their possession.

Due to increasing incidents of street crime in the area of North East District, a special drive against robbers was started in the area of North East District. On 12/4/2015 at about 1630 Hrs team of special staff North East District was present near Shastri park Seelampur Delhi.  In the mean time information was received by HC Naresh that three robbers would come on a M/Cycle from Iron Bridge Seelampur side and would go towards Seelampur Metro Station via Dharmpura Red Light. Without wasting time, special staff team took their position near Dharampura Red Light. At about 1700 hrs at the instance of secret informer three persons namely Ayub, Arif and Gulam Hussain with one M/Cycle bearing registration number UP-14BL-6255 were stopped by the staff and on checking one loaded country made pistol was recovered from the possession accused Ayub. On enquiry it was found that recovered M/Cycle was robbed by the accused persons on 9/4/15 from Shastri park Red light.  In this regard a case vides FIR No. 286/15 U/S 25 A. Act and 411 IPC was registered at P.S. Seelampur Delhi. One M/Cycle bearing registration number DL-13-SC-3827 stolen from the area of P.S. Welcome and four robbed Mobile phones were also recovered at the instance of accused persons.

            A dedicated police team of special staff, North East District comprising of SI Shahid Ali, ASI Harbir Singh, HC’s Naresh , Vinay, Deepak, Sanjay and Cts Upender, Kuldeep, Sharnvir and  Pardeep under the leadership of Insp. Gajendra Kumar I/C Special staff North East District and under overall supervision of Sh N.S. Minhas ACP/Seema Puri North District was formed.

            All accused persons were interrogated at length. During interrogation it was learnt that accused person namely Arif, has been earlier also involved criminal cases. All accused persons disclosed that they used to rob lonely persons by pointing knife and country made pistol at them. To full fill their daily needs of liquor and other expenditure, they used to rob cash and mobile and sell out the robbed mobiles to innocent persons in weekly market at very cheap rate.   

a.      Ayub :- Accused Ayub age 21 yrs s/o Idrish r/o C-13/14 Kabir Nagar Delhi is married and  studied up to 5th class.  
b.      Arif:- Accused Arif  age 28 yrs s/o Rafiq r/o near Bismillah Masjid Subhash Mohalla Mauzpur Delhi is still unmarried and illiterate. He is an active criminal and previously involved 4 criminal cases.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
