Notorious Gang of Car Thieves Busted by Police Of Seelampur, North East District

With the arrest of  one Amit @ Golu s/o Harvir Singh r/o Village Manota, PS Murad Nagar, Distt. Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police of PS Seelam Pur, Delhi has busted a gang of notorious car lifters who used to lift the cars from different parts of Delhi and sell them in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.

          On 08.04.2015 at about 2100 hrs HC Yasin Khan No. 535/NE, HC Rakesh No. 56/NE, Ct. Mukesh No. 1057/NE & Ct. Mukesh Kumar No. 1398/NE were deputed for vehicle checking at Seelam Pur T-point Road No. 66 as there was an alarming increase in the auto theft cases. At about 2130 hrs two cars make Maruti Esteem and Honda City were coming from ISBT side on very high speed. The staff stopped the cars and asked for the registration papers of the vehicles. While the staff was busy interrogating the driver of the first car. The driver of the second car ran away leaving the car on the road. The driver of the first vehicle could not produce any document of the vehicle and disclosed that, they have lifted the cars from the area of PS Model Town, Delhi on the very same day. On further interrogation he disclosed that one Dheeraj @ Sagar was driving the other car. He further disclosed that they have been lifting the cars from different parts of Delhi and used to sell them in Meerut, U.P.  

          A team comprising of HC Yasin Khan No. 535/NE, HC Rakesh No. 56/NE, Ct. Mukesh No. 1057/NE & Ct. Mukesh Kumar No. 1398/NE was constituted to further interrogate the accused and try to locate and seize the vehicle and apprehend the other co-accused persons.

          During the investigation the accused disclosed that he alongwith co-accused Sagar used to lift cars from various places in North-West District, Outer District and other parts of Delhi. He further disclosed that they have lifted an Indica car from the area of Gautam Puri, PS Seelampur.  On verifying the record a FIR No. 250/15 u/s 379 IPC, PS Seelampur, dated 04.04.2015 was found registered. The accused was taken in PC remand for two days.

Amit @ Golu s/o Harvir Singh r/o Village Manota, PS Murad Nagar, District Ghaziabad, U.P. He is involved in 5 cases of Excise Act, Arms Act, Gangster Act in PS Murad Nagar, Ghaziabad, One case of Arms Act in Madhu Vihar, East District, Delhi and he also disclosed to have committed auto lifting cases from different parts of Delhi.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
