Desperate & Notorious Gang Of Burglars Busted by the Team of AATS, South-West District

Sleuths of AATS/SWD have busted a desperate and notorious gang of burglars with the arrest of two criminals (1) Riyazuddin @ Tunda S/o Shamat Ali R/o A-69, Vikas Vihar, Bharat Vihar, Kakrola, Delhi Age – 34 years and (2) Rajesh Kumar S/o Lt. Shri Vijay Kumar R/o RZ-46, Gali No. 1, Sagarpur, Delhi Age -38 years.  Both the accused have also been previously involved in many cases of night burglary.  Accused Riyazuddin @ Tunda was very much inspired by infamous thief BUNTY CHOR, who was not only his role model but also he wanted be his replica.  He also attempted thrice to meet BUNTY CHOR for gaining tips to execute the burglaries to perfection.  He was dreaming of becoming a well-known burglar like his role model one day.  Four stolen mobile phone, one motor cycle and a house breaking implement have been recovered from their possession.

In the last 3-4 months there was sudden increase in the incidents of night burglaries.  Due to spate of crime in the area there was sense of insecurity among the public in general.  Hence Insp. Raj Kuamr, AATS/South-West District was assigned the task to collect the criminal intelligence and arrest the accused persons.  On 25/04/15 secret information was received that accused persons will pass through Dwarka underpass and will go towards Smalkha.  Hence under the supervision of Shri B. S. Dahiya, ACP/Operations and under the leadership of Insp. Raj Kumar, AATS a police team comprising of SI Naresh Chander, ASI Jai Parkash, HC Jitender Kumar, HC Vijay Singh Meena and Ct. Jagat Singh was formed and information was developed and verified.  On 25/04/15 at 4.30 PM a trap was laid at Red Light, Pushpanjili Farm House, Kapashera and accused persons Riyazuddin @ Tunda and Rajesh Kumar were apprehended on the spot.  Four stolen mobiles, one motor cycle and one house breaking implement was recovered from their possession.

1.   Case FIR No. 96/15 U/s 380/457 IPC PS Kapashera, New Delhi.
2.   Case FIR No. 90/15 U/s 380/457 IPC PS Dabri, New Delhi.
3.   Case FIR No. 38/15 U/s 380/457 IPC PS Dabri, New Delhi.
4.   Case FIR No. 289/15 U/s 380/457 IPC PS Dabri, New Delhi.

RECOVERY :-
-      Four stolen mobiles
-      One motor cycle
-      One house breaking implement

PROFILE  OF ACCUSED:-

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
