A Notorious Robber/Snatcher Arrested: 02 Cases of Snatching and a Case of MV Theft Solved

With the arrest of one notorious Robber/Snatcher P.S North Rohini has solved 02 cases of Snatching and a case of MV Theft. One Pistol with magazine, 3 live cartridges, 1 Knife and One Motorcycle stolen from the area of PS South Rohini have also been recovered.

                Keeping in view the increasing incidents of Robbery and snatching, some special pickets were deployed in the area of PS North Rohini for vehicle checking under the supervision of ACP/Prashant Vihar and leadership of Inspr. Parveen Kumar SHO/North Rohini, comprising of ASI VijenderSingh No. 431/OD, Ct. Ashok No. 1461/OD, Ct. Manoj No. 2211/OD, Ct. Ashok No. 1633/OD and Ct. Dhokal No. 1244/OD.On 17.04.15, ASI Vijender with Ct. Ashok and driver Dhokal were doing checking on Anti-Snatching picket at Dr. BSA Hospital Gate No. 1. At about 06:50 PM, a person came towards Rohini-West Metro Station very fast on Red Colour Pulser bike without helmet. ASI Vijender Singh tried to stop him but on seeing the Police he dodged the picket staff and fled away. The person was stopped at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital after a sustained chase by police staff. On checking, one Pistol with magazine, 3 live cartridges and One Knife were recovered from his possession. On interrogation, his name was revealed as Vinod @ Panchi S/o Roshan Lal R/o I- Block H. No. 902, JhangirPuri.

The interrogation of accused person revealed that he used to roam on M/Cycle in different areas in search of lonely persons and having valuable articles. After completing the recce of the area, he used to rob such persons at the point of Pistol or Knife.

1.       Vinod @ Panchi S/o Roshan Lal R/o I- Block H. No. 902, JhangirPuri, Delhi is 10th pass. He is a B.C of PS Mahindra Park and already involved in 26 cases of robbery, snatching and murder.

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
