Election Commission of India allows the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee as intervener in the pending matter of 21 AAP MLAs on the issue of office of profit by saying that as an when required, they will seek the assistance of the Congress party also.

New Delhi, 27 July, 2016- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Shri Ajay Maken said that it’s a victory of Congress party workers as the Election Commission of India has allowed DPCC to make submissions as and when required by the commission. He said that we will ensure that membership of 21 AAP MLAs is being cancelled and after that and fresh elections are again held on these seats. It may be recalled that Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Ajay Maken has petitioned to Election Commission of India to become party in the said pending matter. A copy of the order passed by the Election Commission of India date 26.7.2016 is enclosed herewith.
 
Shri Ajay Maken said that the AAP party has been exposed before the people of Delhi and people have understood that they have done nothing for the development work of Delhi in their one and half years rule. “AAP party Delhi Govt. is busy in fighting with Central Government and its officials, just to hide their failure”, said Ajay Maken.
 
Shri Maken said that the people have also understood that AAP party Delhi Govt. is also waisting the hard earned money of Delhi people by giving advertisements of crores of rupees. Shri Maken said that its surprising that AAP party Delhi Govt. is not only waisting crores of rupees by giving advertisements in newspapers of full pages but these advertisement are also being published in national as well as local newspapers in Punjab, Gujarat, Goa and other states.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
