SENSATIONAL DAY LIGHT ROBBERY WITH THE SALESMAN OF A GARMENT FIRM OF GANDHI NAGAR MARKET SOLVED

Special Staff of East District along with local police of PS Gandhi Nagar has busted a gang of robbers involved behind the sensational day light robbery of Rs. 6 Lacs. The names of the arrested persons are:
  1. Mohd. Tahseem s/o Firojuddin r/o E- 103, Gali no. 4, Shri Ram colony, Khajoori Khas, Delhi.
  2. Gulzar S/o Shakil R/o Circular Road near Ambedkar statue, Sonia Vihar, delhi.
  3. Kali charan s/o Nathu Ram R/o E -1142, Gali no. 10, Shri Ram Colony, Khajoori Khas, Delhi.
  4. Mohd. Mazid S/o Mamin R/o H. No. 87, Main Circular road, Sonia Vihar, Delhi.
  5. Mohd. Nazim S/o Nafish Ahamad R/o E-1803, gali no. 7, Shri Ram colony, Khajoori Khas, Delhi.
 
 INCIDENT
           On 26.06.2016, Mr. Shyam Mohan Tiwari Salesman of a Yogesh Trading Company, a garment firm which belongs to Shri Deepak Gambhir was collecting cash from other readymade garment firms of Gandhi Nagar. At about 5.35 PM he had collected cash Rs. 6 lacs and demand drafts worth Rs. 37 lacs and he was intercepted and overpowered by two unknown criminals. The robbers beat him up and fled away with the bag containing cash and Demand Drafts. Accordingly a case under appropriate sections of Law was registered at PS Gandhi Nagar.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST

           To solve this case of sensational broad day light robbery, the Special Staff of East Distt. was assigned the task. A team under the leadership of Insp. Videsh Singhal I/C Spl Staff/East comprising of SIs Vinay Yadav, K.K. Sharma, Arun Sindhu, SI Desh Raj, SI Kulbir, ASI Swadesh pal, HC Satyaprakash, HC Jugnu, HC Bakshish, HC Ravinder Bhati, Ct. Vipin, Ct. Sanjay and Ct. Rambir under the close supervision of Sh. Y.K. Tyagi ACP/Ops was constituted and investigation was taken up.
            During the course of investigation, the team of Special Staff, East district developed information regarding Gangs indulging in similar modus operandi cases and the criminal intelligence system/information was deployed. Clues from CCTV footages were developed. Technical surveillance was also mounted on suspects. During this process, secret information was received that the Gang Members are present in the area of Khajoori khas Delhi. Immediately raid was conducted at Shri Ram colony, Khajoori Khas, Delhi and five accused persons Tahseem, Gulzar, Mazid, Kalicharan and Nazim were arrested. All of them confessed their involvement behind this robbery. Robbed Amount Rs. 1.50 lacs had been recovered. One accused Farukh is still absconding with rest of robbed booty and efforts are being made to arrest him.

INTERROGATION

            On Sustained interrogation accused Kalicharan disclosed that he was working as labour/salesman in a firm in the area of Gandhi nagar. This firm was visited by the complainant every Sunday for cash collection. Besides this firm the complainant also collected cash from several other firms. He passed on this information to his associates Tahseem, Farookh and Mazid. Kalicharan told that the cash can be around 50 lacs and they planned to commit robbery with complainant. For executing plan, they receed the area of Gandhi Nagar for two Sundays and fixed a comparatively lonely by-lane for robbery. Finally, on 26.06.2016 the accused persons committed robbery at around 5:35 PM and robbed Rs. 6.04 lacs and Demand Drafts of more than 37 lacs. Seven more cases of robbery of East Distt. Have also been solved.  A car Make Hundai-i10 was also purchased from the robbed amount.

  2. Guljar S/o Shakil R/o Circular Road near Ambedkar statue, Sonia Vihar, delhi, 22 yrs, works as supplier of chicken.
  3. Kali charan s/o Natthu Ram R/o E -1142, gali no. 10, Shri Ram Colony, Khajoori Khash, Delhi age 22 yrs. Works as salesman at VP Garments.
  4. Mohd. Mazid S/o Mamin R/o H. No. 87, main Circular road, Sonia Vihar, Delhi. Age 22 yrs. Works as tailor.
  5. Mohd. Nazim S/o Nafish Ahamad R/o E-1803, gali no. 7, Shri Ram colony, Khajoori Khas, Delhi. Age 20 yrs. Works as AC helper.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
