One Rewardee Proclaimed Offender, Wanted in a Murder Case Arrested

Crime Branch has apprehended one rewardee criminal namely Ashish Shokeen @ Monu (25 yrs) s/o Vijay Pal r/o Sec-22, Gurgaon, (Haryana). He was declared proclaimed offender in a murder case of PS Kundli, Sonipat, Haryana and absconding since last four years.

       On 28/06/15, secret Information was received by Special Team of Crime Branch that one Ashish Shokeen @ Monu who is involved in a murder case of PS Kundli (Sonipat) would come near Madhuban Chowk, Rohini, Delhi. Accordingly, a team lead by DCP Bhisham Singh and consisting of ACP Ranbir Singh, Inspr. Hariwansh Singh, ASIs Gurcharan, Yashpal, HCs Kapil Tyagi, Surender, Sanjeev, Anil, Cts Sandeep, Ranbir and Ashok was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP/Crime to nab him. A trap was laid near the expected place and the accused Ashish Shokeen was nabbed.

 PROFILE:-

Accused Ashish Shokeen @ Monu was born in village Mangol Pur, Delhi and he had left studies in 2nd year of graduation. He was acquainted with one Sagar Maan r/o village Kheda, Delhi who was studying in Shradhanand College, Alipur. One Vijay Khatri r/o Village Kundli, Sonipat was also studying in the college who had given beatings to Sagar Maan in the college campus. To avenge the insult, Sagar Maan shot dead Vijay Khatri in his village with the help of accused Ashish Shokeen and two other associates. A case vide FIR No.247/11 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Kundli, Sonipat (Haryana) in this regard. Ashish Shokeen was since absconding and he had shifted his house to Gurgaon. He was declared proclaimed offender in the case and cash reward of Rs. 5000/- was declared by Haryana Police on his arrest. He was also involved in supply of illegal arms and ammunition.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
