Another Module of Fake EWS Certificate Admission Scam Busted

A team of Crime Branch officials led by ACP KPS Malhotra comprising of SIs Ritesh Kumar and Neeraj under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and overall supervision of Addl.CP Ashok Chand has busted another module of fake EWS certificate admission scam. This module was working and getting admissions at Lancer Convent School, Rohini.

One accused namely Neeraj s/o Madhusudan r/o L-1/3 Budh Vihar Phase -1, Delhi has been arrested who used to charge Rs. 1-3 lakh per admission in the Lancer Convent School. In the current academic session, he has got admitted more than 10 children under EWS category using fake certificates. He has disclosed that he had come in contact of his neighbor Mukesh Sharma who has been earlier arrested in this scam. Mukesh Sharma helped him for getting admission of his niece at Bal Bharti School, Pitampura Delhi. He learnt all the process and met Nadeem through Mukesh Sharma from whom he used to procure EWS Certificates. Neeraj started acting independently and induced the prospective clients outside Lancer Convent School who want to get their child admitted in the school at any cost. Efforts are being made to trace his associates and further investigation regarding involvement of school administration is under progress.

In addition to the names of the schools surfaced earlier vide press release dated 16.06.15, some more schools of Delhi have also come to adverse notice where such admission racketeers were operating:
