NARCOTIC DRUG CANNABIS (GANJA) 160 KGMS SEIZED

The team of Special Cell/NDR led by Inspector Kailash Singh Bisht has busted a module involved in huge quantity of narcotic drug trafficking from Odisha to Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Haryana by apprehending three persons namely (1) MOHD HAFIZ aged- 31 years s/o Mohd Rashid r/o Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar-1, Delhi, (2) BABU ROY @ Chottu aged- 31 years s/o Late Madan Roy r/o Bolpur, Shanti Niketan, Birbhum, West Bengal and (3) JEEVAN MONDOL aged- 31 years s/o Sadan Mondol r/o Bolpur, Shantiniketan, Birbhum, West Bengal and seizing 160 Kgms of Narcotic Drug (Ganja) and two cars of make Volks Wagon Vento & Maruti Swift Dzire.
             During the last few months, an input was being received in Special Cell/NDR, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi from reliable sources that one Mohd Hafiz r/o Okhla, Delhi is involved in sale of huge quantity of Narcotics substance (Ganja) in Delhi/NCR. Accordingly, sources were deployed in Delhi and other places to identify this narcotic syndicate.  On 25/06/2016, at around 4:30 AM, an information received that two persons namely Babu Roy @ Chhotu and Jeevan Mondol are coming Delhi from Odisha in a white Maruti car bearing West Bengal number alongwith huge consignment of Narcotics substance (Ganja) to deliver to above Hafiz in the Yamuna Khadar of Jaitpur Delhi at about 8 AM.
            On the basis of above input, a raiding party led by Inspector Kailash Singh Bisht laid a trap on Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Pusta road. At about 7.35 AM, the team spotted the West Bengal registration number Maruti Swift Dzire car and kept watch upon the occupants. After few minutes, a Volks Wagon Vento car was also spotted near it and both the cars moved towards Yamuna Khadar on Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Pusta Road opposite Kanchan Kunj Colony, Jaitpur, Delhi and then occupants started transferring narcotic drugs packets from one car to another. Immediately, the raiding party reached near them and overpowered the occupants from whom 16-packets of narcotic drug weighing 160 Kgms was recovered.                      
            During investigation, the above accused persons have been interrogated with respect to the source of recovered Ganja and further its sale/consumption. The source of recovered Ganja is found to be Balasore Odisha and is further supplied in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Haryana etc. The accused persons have supplied OVER 3500 KGMS OF GANJA worth more than 1 CRORE in Delhi in the last 10 months to above accused Mohd Hafiz, who further sold it to his contacts in various states including Delhi.

            All accused persons have been taken on police custody remand to unearth the whole conspiracy. Further investigation is underway.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
