Sensational Daylight Murder Case of PS Dwarka South Solved

Crime Branch has solved recent sensational broad daylight murder case of a property dealer of Dwarka area and arrested one dreaded/notorious criminal Anil Kumar Vats @ Choti (28 yrs) s/o Ishwar Chand Vats r/o Palam Village, New Delhi from Kalkaji area. Motive of the crime was retaliation of murder of his brother Sunil Pandit who was shot dead by unknown assailants in Dwarka area and the accused suspected that the deceased property dealer Nikhil Kumar r/o Bengali Colony, Dabri, Delhi had knowledge about the assailants.       
INCIDENT: -
New Delhi: A 27-year-old man was shot allegedly by a gang of unidentified assailants outside a private school at Sector 7, Dwarka, in southwest Delhi on Monday afternoon. Police said the victim suffered two bullet injuries and died on the spot. He was identified as Nikhil Kumar, a resident of Mahavir Colony.
"We got a call around 1.50pm. Kumar was rushed to Ayushman Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. It is suspected that the murder was fallout of a personal rivalry. There were three to four assailants," said a senior police official. A case of murder was registered at Dwarka south police station against unknown persons.

        On 01/02/2016 at about 01:00 PM, Sh. Gaurav Bhardwaj s/o Jugal Kishore Bhardwaj r/o Peepal Wali Gali, Mahavir Enclave New Delhi reported at PS Dwarka (South) that he was present in Mahavir Enclave alongwith his friend Nikhil Kumar r/o Bangali Colony, PS Dabri, Delhi. Nikhil told him that his friend Anil Kumar Vats @ Choti r/o Palam village, Delhi had called him at his house. On his Scooty, the duo went to Palam village to meet Anil but he was not found at his home and someone informed him that Anil had gone to his shop located on the back side of Maxfort School. So, they reached there where Manish @ Chhola was sitting in the white colour i-10 car alongwith his friend Dhiraj  and Anil, Rocky and 4-5 more persons were standing near the car who started talking to them. In the meantime, Manish @ Chhola came out from the car and started threatening and abusing Nikhil. Later, Manish took out a Pistol from the pant of Anil and fired on the chest of Nikhil. When he fell down, Manish again fired on his forehead and ran away towards Maxfort School. Injured Nikhil was shifted to Ayushman Hospital Dwarka by PCR Van, where he was declared dead. A case vide FIR No.64/2016 u/s 302/506/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, PS Dwarka (South) was registered in this regard.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION: -
          A team of South Western Range was tasked to work on the case of murder of Nikhil Kumar. On 01/02/2016, information was received by HC Randhawa that the main accused Anil Kumar Vats would come to Kalkaji Mandir to visit someone. On this information, a team led by ACP Kailash Chandra, Inspr. Yashpal Singh, SI Kuldeep, ASI Priyavrit, HCs Randhawa, Sanjay Gularia, Ravinder, Cts. Badri Parsad, Dharmender and Gangadhar was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab him. A trap was laid by the team at the given place and accuses Anil Kumar Vats @ Choti was apprehended.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE: -
          During interrogation, accused Anil Kumar Vats @ Choti revealed that he has studied upto 12th standard from open school and is unemployed. In the year 2013, he fell into bad company and started committing petty offence. With the passage of time, he started committing more heinous crime by joining ‘Akshay-Nitin Gang’. He was arrested by Crime Branch in 2013 in a robbery case of Dwarka South and was sent to jail. After coming out on bail, he came in contact with Manish @ Chhola, Dhiraj, Rocky and Ravi of all resident of Palam.
        On 17.11.2015, his elder brother Sunil Pandit was shot dead by unknown assailants in Sector-7, Dwarka area while he was going on his scooty. He suspected that the Nikhil had knowledge about the killers of his brother and he was wilfully not disclosing their identities. So, he decided to teach him a lesson. As per plan, he called Nikhil behind Maxfort School in Sector-7, Dwarka on 1/2/2016 and alongwith his friend Manish, shot him over chest and forehead to ensure his death. After the incident, the accused Anil Choti was hiding in South Delhi area to evade his arrest.
