EXTERNEE (TADIPAR)/BURGLARS ARRESTED BY SPECIAL STAFF OUTER DISTRICT

The Special Staff of Outer District, Delhi has arrested accused Sarwan @ Manish @ Dinesh a BC and externee (Tadipar) of PS Sultan Puri and Saurabh @ Suraj and worked out Ten cases of house burglary and recovered 20 mobile phones, 10 Nokia Batteries, 01 Base Tube, 01 Music Player, 02 Speakers, 01 Gas Cylinder, 01 Hyundai Car and 01 Apache Motorcycle used in commission of offence.


INCIDENT:

           On 28/01/16 complainant Kapil Singhal S/o Ghan Shyam Dass R/o A-55, Krishan Vihar Delhi reported that someone has broken into his mobile shop and near about 15-16 mobile phones and Rs 1000/- have been stolen. Hence case FIR No 91/16 u/s 457/380 IPC was registered in PS Begum Pur, Delhi and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION:


On 05/02/2016 at around 9PM, secret information was received that an externee and B.C of PS Sultanpuri namely Sarwan @ Dinesh @ Manish and Vijay @ Poly was staying in Delhi illegally and engaged in criminal activities.  They would sell the stolen articles in area of PS Sultan Puri. On this information, a team of officials of Special Staff comprising SI Praveen Attri, HC Devender No. 3204/OD, HC Takdeer, HC Neeraj 2862/OD, HC Raj Kumar No.222/OD, CT Rakesh No. 1123/OD,  Ct Shamsher No. 1363/OD was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Mahabir Singh, I/C Special Staff under the supervision of Sh. Ranbir Singh Khatri, ACP/Operations. The Team reached near KrishanVihar, Sultanpuri, Delhi and apprehended the culprits from the spot while gang leader Vijay @ Poly another B.C and Tadipar of PS Sultan Puri managed to escape.

INTERROGATION & MODUS OPRENDI:

           On sustained interrogation the arrested persons have disclosed that due to bad habits they along with their accomplices committed crimes again and again as when released from jail on bail. Due to his continuous involvement in crime, accused Sharwan@Dinesh@Manish was externed from Delhi by Addl. DCP Outer District in the month of December 2015 for a period of 2 years but he remained in Delhi secretly and committed burglaries. On further interrogation accused disclosed that they commit thefts during night hours mostly in shops specially where no guards were deployed and confessed the commission of 10 burglaries in the area of PS Begumpur, AmanVihar and South Rohini.

1.               Sarwan @ Manish @ Dinesh S/o Ranjeet Singh R/o F-7/W-49, T-Huts,    Sultan Puri  BC of PS Sultan Puri Delhi, aged 30 Years.
          
Education qualification :  school drop out after 4th class, 

Previous Involvements:  14 cases of  various sections of IPC, mostly house burglary and Arms Act at various Police Stations in Delhi.

2.               Saurabh @ Suraj S/o Radhey Shyam Shrivastav R/o Village- Nigoh, P.S. Bishesharganj District- Behraich (U.P) Aged 22 Years

Education qualification : 6th class.

Previous Involvements:  02 cases under various sections of law registered in Rajasthan and Gujrat.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
