A Sensational Blind Robbery with Attempt to Murder Case Solved by the Police Of PS Jafrabad : North East District

With the arrest of two hard core criminals namely (1) Shahnawaj @ Abid Mota s/o Safat Ahmad r/o B-431, Gali no. 4/5, Babu Nagar, Mustafabad, Delhi age 25 yrs. and  (2) Anil @ Sonu @ Matka s/o Shyampal Singh r/o D 2/215, Gali No. 2, Harijan Basi, East Gokalpur, Delhi age 30 yrs, three cases of robbery with attempt to murder and one case of murder have been solved by the Police of PS Jafrabad, Delhi.

            On 11/03/2015 at around 10 AM,  information was received from a secret informer that two desperate criminals along with dangerous weapons will passed through Jafrabad area. On this information a team was constituted consisting of SI Rohit Kumar, ASI Virender, Ct Gajender No. 1481/NE, Ct Krishan No. 3303/NE & Ct Kuldeep No. 2565/NE under the supervision of Insp. Om Singh, ATO/Jafrabad and overall supervision of Sh. Anand Kumar Mishra, ACP/ Sub. Division Seelampur.

A trap was placed at Main Brahampuri Road near Kalyan Cinema, Delhi. At about 10:15 AM two boys came on a Black Coloured Pulsar M/Cycle No.
UP-14-CA-6861 were coming from Ghonda Chowk, Delhi on Main Brahampuri Road and were going towards Seelampur, Delhi. On the instance of secret informer both of the boys were stopped and apprehended. On search of them one loaded Pistol and 4 live Cartridges of 7.65 Bore was recovered from Shanawaj @ Abid Mota and one loaded Revolver having 6 rounds in its cylinder/chamber and 4 Live Cartridges were recovered from the pocket of Anil @ Sonu @ Matka. Two separate cases vide FIR No. 163/15 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act and case vide FIR No. 164/15 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act were registered at PS Jafrabad, Delhi against them.  The above said Black Pulsar Motorcycle was also seized as it found to be robbed by the above said accused persons from the jurisdiction of PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi regarding which a Case FIR No. 23/15 u/s 392/34 IPC Dt. 8/1/2015 was already registered at PS Jyoti Nagar, Delhi. On inquiry the genuine registration number of above said M/cycle was revealed as DL-7SBS-2922.

During the course of sustain interrogation both the accused persons disclosed their involvements in the following heinous cases:-

            Apart from that Shanawaj @ Abid mota disclosed his involvement in planning of murder of one Mobin who is complainant in the case of MACOCA against Iqbal Gazi. Shanawaj @ Abid mota was also apprehended at Bulandsahar along with his associate and also got arrested in a criminal case in which he remained in judicial custody for about 3-4 months.

RECOVERIES

1)      One loaded Pistol and 4 live Cartridges of 7.65 Bore was recovered from Shanawaj @ Abid Mota.

2)      One loaded Revolver having 6 rounds in its cylinder/chamber and 4 Live Cartridges were recovered from the pocket of Anil @ Sonu @ Matka.

3)      One Robbed M/Cycle of genuine Registration no. DL-7SBS-2922.

4)      Part recovery of silver utensils from the room of Anil @ Sonu @ Matka.  

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS

1)      Accused Shahnawaj @ Abid Mota is a BC of PS Karawal Nagar, Delhi having 16 previous criminal involvements in many heinous cases of Delhi and U.P.

2)      Accused Anil @ Sonu @ Matka is a hard-core criminal of U.P, having involvement in murder of U.P and also wanted in a well-known Murder Case of Rakesh Thakur a contract killing/ murder case of PS Shakarpur, Delhi.

PROFILE:-

1)      Anil @ Sonu @ Matka s/o Shyampal Singh r/o D 2/215, Gali No. 2, Harijan Basi, East Gokalpur, Delhi Age 30 yrs is a permanent resident of Village Sherpur Luhara, PS Chhaproli, Distt. Baghpat (U.P) belongs to a lower income group family of Kumhar community and studied upto 8^th class at his native place. And initially working as Auto driver and came in the contact of criminals and finally remain involved in number of heinous crimes of Delhi and U.P.

Shahnawaj @ Abid Mota s/o Safat Ahmad r/o B-431, Gali No. 4/5, Babu Nagar, Mustafabad, Delhi Age 25 yrs is a permanent resident of Delhi belongs to a lower income group muslim family and studied upto 8^th class. He initially joined his family business of Pastry making but came into the contact of hard-core criminals like Kamal and Jamal @ Ranjha and started doing criminal activities.
