5 Drug Traffickers, Including Two Nigerian Nationals, Arrested in Four Separate Incidents of Drug Trafficking

Crime Branch has arrested 5 drug traffickers including two Nigerian nationalsnamely (i) Ezeafulukwe (35 yrs) s/o Silvernus Ezeafulukwe r/o Offine Road, Belagun, Lagos, Nigeria and (ii) Mike (27 yrs) s/o Obennjekwu r/o Afrogun Street, Lagos, Nigeria(iii) Boda Lalu (27 yrs) s/o Boda Bhim Singh r/o Pedda Lingaiah, Thander, Mehabubabad Vemnoor, Warangal, Telangana (iv) Bhukya Linggar (29 yrs) s/o Bhakya Malu, r/o Chinna Lingya, Thanda, Mahabubabad, Vemnoor, Warangal, Telangana (v) Mohinuddin (49 yrs) s/o Mufiduddin r/o New Seema Puri, Delhi for indulging in drug trafficking and recovered 60 gram of fine quality cocaine, 200 gm heroin and 32 kg ganja from them. Value of the recovered drug and contraband is Rs. one crore (approx.) in the international market.

        On the basis of information received at Narcotics Cell, various teams led by ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi consisting of Insprs. Akash Rawat, Kuldeep Singh, Vivek Pathak, SIs Karam Veer, Manoj Kumar, Rajnikant, Dinesh Kumar, HCs Dharmender, Abdul Hakim,Sudhir, Mahesh, Ismile, Yogesh, Cts Sonu, Ramdas, Nityanand and Sohan Pal were constituted under the supervision of DCP M. A. Rizvi and the following arrests/recoveries have been made:-  
1.           In first incident, information was received by SI Manoj Kumar on 11.03.2015 that a Nigerian national namely Ezeafulukwe is indulged in sale/supply of cocaine who would come near Prachin Shiv Mandir, Shakar Pur, Delhi for delivery of a consignment of cocaine. The police team laid a trap at the given place and apprehended the accused Ezeafulukwe and 20 gm of fine quality cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 29/15, dated 11.03.2015, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard.
2.           In second incident, information was received by SI Karam Veer on 11.03.2015 that a Nigerian national namely Mike who resides somewhere in Khirki extension is indulged in sale & supply of cocaine. The Information further entailed that Mike would come near Bus Stand at Panchkuiyan Road, Delhi to deliver a consignment of cocaine to someone. The police team laid a trap at the given place and apprehended the accused Mike. 40 gm of fine quality cocaine was recovered from his possession and a case vide FIR No.31/15, dated 12.03.2015, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard.
3.           In third incident, information was received by SI Rajnikant on 12.03.2015 that one Mohinuddin r/o Seemapuri is indulged in sale & supply of heroin. The information further entailed that Mohinuddin would come near Nigam Bodh Ghat, Delhi to deliver a consignment of heroin to someone. The police team laid a trap at the given place and apprehended the accused Mohinuddin and 200 gm of fine quality heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.33/15, dated 12.03.2015, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard and the accused was arrested. Value of the recovered ganja is Rs.20 lac (approx.) in international market.
4.           In fourth incident, information was received by SI Dinesh Kumar on 12.03.2015 that two persons namely Boda Lalu and Bhukya Lingya, would come at Mayur Vihar Phase-I under Metro track for delivery of ganja. The police team laid a trap at the given place and apprehended the accused Boda Lalu and Bhukya Lingya and 32 kg ganja was recovered from their possession. A case vide FIR No. 32/15, dated 12.03.2015, u/s 20/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard and the duo have been arrested. Value of the recovered ganja is Rs.20 lac (approx.) in international market.

1.           Accused Mike revealed that he belongs to farmer family in Nigeria. He has four brothers and one sister. He has studied up to 6th standard. After dropping out studies, he started helping his family in agriculture. In June, 2012 he came to Delhi on medical visa and was facing financial crisis. Then, he met one Goje, a fellow Nigerian national who helped him financially and lured him into drug trafficking. Goje used to provide him cocaine for supply to his clients.
2.            Accused Ezeafulukwe disclosed that his father was a driver. He has two brothers and three sisters. Brothers of Ezeafulukwe are engineers and are working in Nigeria. Ezeafulukwe used to import liquor. He suffered huge losses in liquor business and came to Mumbai in October, 2013 on business visa. He started exporting textiles to Nigeria. He came to Delhi in February 2014 and came in contact with a fellow Nigerian Chijouke. He wanted to make easy and quick money and joined Chijouke in drug trafficking.
3.           Accused Mohiuddin disclosed that he has 4 daughters and one son. The elder two daughters are married.  He came in contact with one Akbar r/o Ghaziabad, who offered him good money for supply of heroin in Delhi.  Due to poverty, he started supplying drugs. Akbar used to pay him as per the quantity supplied.  He had come to supply the contraband to someone near Nigam Bodh Ghat but was apprehended. Accused Mohiuddin has previously been arrested in two criminal cases including one NDPS case.
4.           Accused Bhukya Lingya revealed that his father had expired when he was only one year old. He was brought up by his mother and has studied upto B.Ed.  He the only son of his parents. He came in contact with one person named Shanker r/o Warangal who lured him for supply of ganja from Warangal to his men in Delhi in lieu of good commission. He used to get Rs. 5-10 thousand for each consignment.  His associate Boda Lalu, is a resident of his neighbouring village and he also joined Shankar on his allurement. They had come to supply the contraband to one Waseem in Delhi and were apprehended.
5.           Accused Boda Lalu revealed that he belongs to a farmer family and is married. He is illiterate and unemployed. He came in contact with accused Bhukya Lingya, who offered him good money for supplying ganja from Warangal to Delhi. He says that he had come for the first time with his co-accused Bhukya Lingya to Delhi with the drug consignment but was apprehended by police.
