Alert ATM Guard Helped in Nabbing ATM Thief

The staff of P.S Tughlak Road has arrested a thief namely Azarhuddin (25 Years) S/o Shahbuddin Ali R/o Village Mazoli, PO Dumri, PS Fatehpur, Distt. Gaya, Bihar. The accused adopted modus operandi to steal cash from ATM’s machines.


          SI Dinesh Kumar, HC Prahlad, 429/ND, HC Rajkumar staff of Khan Market received information from bank staff of Bank of India, Khan Market that someone is trying to temper the ATM’s machine of their bank.  CCTV’s footage of ATM machine were analyzed and found that a person age about 24-25 years entered in ATM cabin and poured “feviquik” on CANCEL button of ATM machine.  When the customer insert his/her card in the machine, the machine ask the PIN number from the customer. The customer enters the PIN but further proceeding stops due to tempering of the buttons. The customer could neither succeed to withdraw the money nor could ‘cancel’ the proceeding. Once customer leave the ATM machine after frustration as he could not withdraw the money, the accused would withdraw money from ATM machine by cleaning ‘feviquik’ and pins. The bank officers intimated that the same person had tried to temper ATM machine 3-4 times earlier in same ATM machine.      

          The photograph of the suspect were developed and circulated to all guards of the ATM machine as well as parking attendant and beat staff. The beat staff and guards deployed at ATM’s in Khan Market area were briefed and instructed to keep sharp vigil on the person coming to withdraw money from the ATM’s machine.  On 29.03.2015 at around 2:30 PM one person namely Azarhuddin S/o Shahbuddin Ali R/o Village Mazoli, PO Dumri, PS Fatehpur, Distt. Gaya, Bihar came at ATM Bank of India, Khan Market and entered ATM cabin of Bank of India, Khan Market.  He tried to pour ‘feviquik’ on ATM buttons.  Meanwhile the ATM guard namely Ajit Das S/o Sh. Nagpur Das R/o Vill. Hardam Nagar, PS Harish Chand Pur, Distt. Malda, West Bengal, saw him doing so, he raised alert alarm and informed the beat staff. This person was apprehended immediately at the spot with the help of beat staff. A Case FIR No. 35/15 U/s 379/511 IPC, dated 29.03.15 is registered at PS Tughlak Road. During the course of investigation two feviquik pouches, pins were recovered from the possession of the accused.  

          The accused  Azarhuddin S/o Shahbuddin Ali R/o Village Mazoli, PO Dumri, PS Fatehpur, Distt. Gaya, Bihar was interrogated. During the interrogation he disclosed that he came to Delhi in search a job, but he failed to get the same.He may be involved in other attempts on ATMs.  Further interrogation is going on.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
