Two Notorious Auto-Lifters Operating in Delhi/NCR Arrested

            A team led by DCP Dinesh Kumar Gupta comprising of ACP Ram Mehar Singh, Inspr. Surender Dalal, SI Shiv Raj, HCs Deepak, Sunil Kumar, Pradeep, Cts Amit, Ajay and Manoj was constituted to apprehend the auto-lifter active in Delhi NCR under the close supervision of Addl. CP Ashok Chand.
            The team members worked relentlessly and verified details of various jail/bail released auto-lifters. Secret sources were deployed and criminal intelligence was developed. 
            The efforts of the team bore fruit and, a specific information was received at Northern Range of Crime Branch on 4.06.15 that a notorious auto-lifter Aabid and his associate Satish would come near M-73, Sector-5, Bawana Industrial Area on stolen bikes for disposal. Accordingly, the team swiftly laid a trap and nabbed two persons who were identified as Aabid (34 yrs) s/o Rashid Khan r/o Village Amargarh, Bulandsahar, UP and Satish Kumar (30 yrs) s/o Nanhe Singh r/o village Harevli, Delhi-39.
            Upon interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they used to target only those bikes in which documents, were found kept in dicky.
            After that, they used to steal the bike with the help of master keys. They are expert in driving bikes at high speed.
            They wanted to have fun and lead a lavish life. Influenced by the modern consumerist culture, they developed a special craze for new and powerful bikes and thus indulged in auto theft. They planned to sell these stolen bikes to gullible customers after showing them original documents of bike.
RECOVERIES
1)    9 Bikes. (4 Hero Splendor Pro, 2 Hero Passion Pro, 1 Bajaj Discover, 1 Bajaj Pulsar and 1 Hero Passion Pro).
2)         Bunch of master keys.
PROFILE  
1.                  Aabid (34 yrs) s/o Raseed Khan r/o Village Amargarh, Bulandsahar, UP is illiterate and has 11 children from two wives. He is a Barber by profession. As the earning from the profession of Barber was not enough to fulfill his desire for branded clothes and modern life style so he started committing auto theft.
                        In 2012, he came to Noida and started auto-lifting beside his job in sectors 15, 16 and 18 of Noida. In 2012, he was caught red handed on the spot while he was trying to steal a bike in Noida. He remained in jail for six months. In 2014, he came to Delhi and opened a Barber shop in Bawana Industrial area. He alongwith Satish formed a gang and started stealing bikes in Delhi NCR. Previously, he has been involved in six cases of auto theft.
2.                  Satish Kumar (30yrs) s/o Nane Singh r/o village Harevli, Delhi used to run a tea stall in a jhuggi near M-73, Bawana Industrial Area. He came in contact with Aabid who used to run a barber shop in the vicinity. Aabid lured him to commit auto thefts. He joined his gang and started committing auto thefts in Delhi NCR to make easy money.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
