TWO DACOITS ARRESTED, SENSATIONAL DACOITY CASE OF TILAK BAZAR, LAHORI GATE SOLVED

North District has arrested two desperate dacoits namely Tahir s/o Sabir Hussain r/o Village Behrari P.S. Baheri District Bareilly, U.P. age 29 years and Arif s/o Ali Ahmed r/o Kasba Sahi, P.S. Sahi, District Bareilly, U.P. age 24 years and solved the dacoity case of Tilak Bazar, Lahori Gate, Delhi which was registered vide FIR No. 134 /15 dated 25.05.15 u/s 395/397 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, P.S. Lahori Gate, Delhi.
On 25.05.15 at about 06:00 AM, six persons entered the house No. 2524, Fatak Hasab Khan, Tilak Bazar, Lahori Gate, Delhi armed with Pistol and knives and tied the hands of the owner Shadab and his employees Mohseen and Saroj. Armed with Pistols and knife they robbed Rs.20.5 lakhs. A case vide FIR No. 134/15 dated 25.05.15 u/s 395/397 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered in P.S. Lahori Gate, Delhi in this regard.
It was a sensational case of dacoity armed with fire arms in Tilak Bazar, Lahori Gate. Hence the case was taken on top priority and a team of dedicated police officials of Special Staff and Lahori Gate Police Station, North District comprising of SI Sukhbir Singh Malik, SI Amit Kumar, SI Devendra Pranav, SI Anand Singh, SI Rajender Singh, SI Pradeep Rai, SI Bharat, HC Harphool, HC Yoginder, HC Rajender, Ct. Ansar, Ct. Aadesh, Ct. Chanderpal, Ct. Kapil, Ct. Parveen, Ct. Dinesh, Ct. Rajesh, Ct. Jagrit  and Ct. Manoj  was constituted in the leadership of Insp. Dhiraj Singh, I/C Special Staff, Insp. Dalip, SHO/ Lahori Gate, Insp. Investigation Shri Krishan,  and in close supervision of Sh. Kali Ram Malik, ACP/Operation Cell, North District and Sh. Devesh Mahla, ACP/Kotwali to solve this case under overall close supervision of Sh. Madhur Verma DCP/North. The CCTV footages of the nearby areas were analysed. The dump data of the incoming and outgoing calls during this period of all the mobile service provider companies at the place of incident was obtained and analysed. Through the intense technical surveillance and human intelligence, the team got the lead and identified the persons involved in this incident. The location of the accused persons was found in Gurgaon, Haryana and Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Raids were conducted by many dedicated teams at various locations of Gurgaon and Bareilly.
The exhaustive and painstaking job of the police teams resulted into apprehension of accused Tahir and Arif on 04.06.15. Robbed cash Rs. 8, 73,000/, one Santro car purchased from the robbed cash on 31.05.15 by accused Tahir and one country made pistol along with 7 live cartridges, motorcycle, mobile phones used in this incident were recovered at their instances. Both accused persons were arrested accordingly in the said case.
During the sustained interrogation, it was surfaced that Arif and Tahir had committed this dacoity with his associates namely Rizwan, Mehboob and four other acquaintances of accused Rizwan. On 24.05.15, all of them assembled at Jama Maszid at about 10 PM. After that they racked the target house at about 11:00 PM. After that they went to  Ganwari Extn. Gali No.10, D- Block Bhajan pura Delhi and rested there in a godown owned by one Fahim @ Mamu till 3:00 AM. At about 03:30 AM on 25.05.15, they again came to the said house in Tilak Bazar owned by rice traders as per information of cash received to them from the informer and at about 06:00 AM, they entered the said house duly equipped with deadly weapons, when they got confirmation of cash and committed the dacoity. Accused Rizwan and Mehboob are resident of Bareilly, UP who are absconding and raids are being conducted to apprehend them. The sustained interrogation  and hunt for the accused persons is still on.

RECOVERY
1.     Robbed cash Rs. 8, 73,000/
2.     One Santro car purchased from the robbed cash worth Rs. 3 Lakhs
3.     One country made pistol along with 7 live cartridges,
4.     One Motorcycle Passion No. DL13 SM 2303 used in the commission of crime,
5.     Mobile phones used in the commission of crime.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
