Passing Out Parade Held

On 26th June 2015, the combined Passing Out Parade of 10 DANIPS, 101 male & 23 Female Constables of Daman & Diu Police was held at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. They took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. Shri. Bhim Sain Bassi, Commissioner of Police, Delhi took the salute of the marching contingents.
The parade was also attended by senior officers of Delhi,  Daman & Diu police.

              During long & hard training the trainees were trained to learn skills required for their profession. The DANIPS officers have been trained in Law, police science, computer application, security management and cyber Crime investigation. Constables of Daman & Diu have also been trained in their police rules as well as local laws. For effective community policing they have been sensitized on gender issues, Crime against women, children & senior citizens. With special emphasis on safety and security of women, all the women Constables have been trained in U.A.C.
            Chief Guest gave away the ‘All Round Best’ trophies to Shri Uchit Singhal for DANIPS batch & Ct. Vaishya Vinod Premji of Daman & Diu Police for the best recruit of the batch.

             Lastly, Commissioner of Police, Delhi congratulated them for completion of their training successfully and hoped that they would always remain ahead of time by improving their professional skills from time to time to serve the public with more humanitarian approach.

            Leveraging on the significance our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi  demonstrated for Yoga, by leading tens of thousands of people in a Yoga session on International Yoga Day .
 Delhi Police Training College have formalized a Training Centre for the same .Presently ,1892 trainees would benefit by being trained by Nationally acclaimed trainers in a dedicated centre  . The centre was inaugurated by the Commissioner of Delhi Police, Sh Bhim Sain Bassi followed by a demonstration of various Yoga Asanas(Surya Namaskar,Ustrasana,Padhstasna,Vrikshasana,Chakrasana) by the trainee Women Sub Inspectors. The effort and zeal by the trainees was highly appreciated by the Commissioner of Police .

1.                  “Unity in diversity” is manifested in this batch as there are 2 from Haryana, 2 from UP, 2 from Rajasthan, 1 each from Delhi, Uttrakhand, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. 
2.                  Educational profile of these DANIPS is quite impressive as this batch has 1 M. Techs, 1 MBBS, 2 B. Techs, 1 B.Com, 1 B. Sc, 2 MBA, 2 Post Graduate.
3.                  E” Training Modules were utilized to impart comprehensive knowledge on investigation of burglary, hurt, accident, rape and murder cases.
4.                  Case studies and simulated crime scenes were used for better appreciation of investigation.
