ONE NOTORIOUS AUTO-LIFTER CUM BURGLAR ARRESTED

A team of Special Staff, South-East District has arrested a notorious auto-lifter cum burglar namely Bunty @ Deepak aged 31 years s/o Hari Ram Prasad r/o Saurabh Vihar, Jaitpur, Delhi. Five stolen motorcycles and one laptop have been recovered from his possession and six cases of MV thefts and burglary have been solved.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION
In the wake of increasing incidents of burglary and motor vehicle thefts in the area of South East District, a team of Special Staff/SED comprising HC Harender, HC Anil Kumar, HC Surender, HC Bhoop Singh, HC Shyambir, Ct. Vikash and Ct. Vineet was formed under the supervision of Shri Ashok Saroha, ACP/Operations/South-East District, Delhi.

The team analysed the crime pattern and identified the vulnerable points where such type of crime frequently took place. Besides, the sources were deployed and a close watch was kept on the suspicious persons. During this process, in the evening of 02.12.15, a secret information was received to HC Harender Kumar that an auto-lifter cum burglar having previous involvement in various cases of night burglary and auto lifting would come at Nala Road, Saurabh Vihar, Jaitpur on a stolen motorcycle. Acting upon this information, the police team laid a trap and finally got succeeded to apprehend one person namely Bunty @ Deepak who was riding on a Hero Honda Splender motorcycle. On verification, the motorcycle was found stolen vide E-FIR No. 019676/15 PS Crime Branch (Okhla Indus. Area).  He was carrying a bag containing a laptop which was found stolen vide FIR No. 939/15 PS Okhla Indus. Area.

INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION
During sustain interrogation, Bunty @ Deepak disclosed that he was committing crime for last ten years and previously involved in various cases of burglary and MV Thefts of different police stations of South-East District. He also disclosed that he was released from jail in March 2015 and thereafter, he again started committing burglaries and motor vehicle theft with his associates. For committing MV thefts, he first broke the handle lock and directly connected the wires to start the ignition and escaped. Similarly, for committing burglary, he along with his accomplices used to target locked houses and committed the incident in night hours. At his instance, another four motorcycles were also recovered which he had parked behind his house.

Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to nab his accomplices and to affect more recovery.

Bunty @ Deepak is working as Helper on the private buses and lived with family in a rented house at Jaitpur, Delhi. In the greed of money and to fulfil own demands of drug addiction, he started committing crime.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
