PCR Staff Recovered a Large Quantity of Illicit Liquor

On 01/02.09.2015 at about 01:30 AM PCR staff (Libra-62) recovered a large quantity of illicit liquor and apprehended one person from the area of PS-Alipur. A case vide FIR No. 789/15, U/S 33.1/52.2/58D Delhi Excise Act, dated 02.09.2015 has been registered at PS-Alipur, Outer Distt. Delhi.

Profile of accused:
   1. Rahul S/o Sh. Manvir Singh R/o H.No. D-1700, Jhangirpuri, Delhi age- 25 years

Recovery

1. 450 quarters of illicit liquor make Asli Santra Masaledar
2. Scooty bearing registration No. DL-4S-BD-2118

On 01/02.09.15 at about 01:30 AM, the PCR staff namely I/C HC Naresh Kumar, No. 728/PCR, Ct. Rajesh, No. 2242/PCR & Ct. (Dvr) Jagat Singh, No. 9354/PCR were on patrolling duty at Shani Mandir, Palla noticed a Scooty bearing No. DL-4S-BD-2118 with a bag on board, approaching from Singhu border. On suspicion, the vigilant PCR staff stopped the scooty and on checking they recovered 450 quarters of illicit liquor make Asli Santra Masaledar Desi Sharab for sale in Haryana only from the bag. The apprehended person was identified as Rahul S/o Sh. Manvir Singh R/o H.No. D-1700, Jhangirpuri, Delhi.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
