House Theft Reported at Okhla Industrial Area Solved

A team of PS R.K. Puram, South District has arrested a thief namely Mohd Sahil (age 19 years) r/o Tuglakabad, Delhi and recovered stolen property.  With the arrest of accused, 10 cases of theft have been solved.

In order to prevent incidents of house theft in the area of PS R.K. Puram, a team consisting of SI Vijay Kaushik, ASI Surender Rana, HC Gulab Singh, HC Sukender, HC Naim, HC Sanjeev, Ct Manoj, Ct Prashant, Ct Praveen and Ct Ajit Punia under the leadership of Inspr. Vijaypal Dahiya and supervision of Inspr. Neeraj Chaudhary, SHO R.K. Puram was constituted. The team developed sources to get information about the thieves active in the area. The effort of the team yielded result and the team collected information regarding one Mohd Sahil, a vagabond in the area of Tuglakabad, Delhi who was indulged in theft. On receipt of specific input, the team apprehended accused Mohd Sahil and recovered 2 stolen mobile phones and cash Rs 1000/-. 

During interrogation, accused Mohd. Sahil disclosed to have stolen the mobile phones and cash from the area of PS OIA and in this regard a case vide FIR No 686/15 dated 01-09-15 u/s 380 IPC PS OIA was found to be registered.  During interrogation, it was revealed that accused has committed many incident of thefts in different area of South and South-East Delhi.

Profile of accused:

          Accused Mohd Sahil (age 19 years) is a vagabond in the area of Tuglakabad, Delhi.  He has studied upto 10th Standard and used to work as Helper on trucks / Containers in International Container Depot, Tuglakabad, New Delhi.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
