Murderer & Proclaimed Offender Absconding for Last 14yrs Arrested

Special Cell has arrested an accused of murderer and proclaimed offender namely, Jaspal s/o Late Babu Ram r/o Village Nangla Daman PS Sikander Pur Bais, Distt. Kasganj, UP who had been absconding for the last 14 years. With his arrest the Case FIR No. 182/2001 dated 27/08/2001 u/s 302 IPC PS Dwarka, New Delhi stands worked out.

           A secret  input regarding this accused  had been received and after  verification of this information a team of Special Cell led by Insp. Tilak Chand Bisht, SI Gautam Malik, SI Basant Kumar, Ct Atul No. 987/SB, Ct Ombir no. 708/W, Ct Sandeep No. 8889/DAP, Ct. Abhishek no 870/SB and Ct. Arjun No. 955/SB, was constituted. On 1/9/2015, under the close supervision of ACP Amit Kumar Singh, the team along with the secret informer was despatched to village Nangla Daman Distt. Kashganj, UP and  a trap was laid on the outskirts of the village where the accused was to come to meet an associate. At about 07.15 PM, one person came near the appointed place and upon being identified by the informer the raiding party swung into action. The accused tried to dodge the team and attempted to flee but was swiftly overpowered. He admitted his involvement in the murder case registered vide FIR No. 182/2001 dated 27/08/2001 u/s 302 IPC PS Dwarka, N.  Delhi. Hence he has been arrested u/s 41.1(C) CrPC. The local police has been informed.


On thorough interrogation, the accused revealed that he had strangulated his bhabhi Monu with whom he had started living after the death of his brother. Jaspal’s drinking habit were objected by his bhabhi Monu, which would often develop into endless quarrel. On the fateful day i.e. in the evening of 26/08/01, Jaspal went on a binge drinking at his home and as usual Monu objected to it. Jaspal assaulted and killed her. When he realized what has happened, he became nervous and locked the house and took the daughter of Monu along with him. After that he went to Lal Kuan, Haldwani, Uttrakhand and stayed there for about 2-3 months and worked in the farm of a Sardarji. Thereafter he went to his village and left the girl there and left for Fazilka, Punjab where he  worked as watchman in a mango orchard for about 5 years. He met an accident there and then he returned  toEtah town where he did odd jobs for a living for about 5/ 6 years. Eventually , he returned to his village where for the last about 2/3 years  he is making his livelihood as labourer.  During this period whenever police came to apprehend him in his village he managed to hide and could not be apprehended. However, this time he ran out of luck and was nabbed by the Special Cell.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
