Press Statement by Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA (Delhi Cantt.), Shri Karan Singh Tanwar on Saturday, the 18th  March  2017 –
F. I. R REGISTERED AGAINST SHRI B. SHANKAR BABU REDDY, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF DELHI CANTONMENT BOARD FOR PHYSICAL & SEXUAL HARASSMENT  u/s 354 A / 509.
Sr. Leader of Bhartiya Janta Party & Ex-MLA (DelhI Cantt.) and Vice Chairman, NDMC, Shri Karan Singh Tanwar in a strong worded letter to Shri Raj Nath Singh Ji, Hon’ble Home Minister of India expressed his anguish, sorrow and concern for non-arrest of Chief Executive Officer, Delhi Cantonment Board on account of physical and sexual exploitation of a female teacher of Silver Oak Public School of Delhi Cantonment Board inspite of lodging of FIR under section 354 A / 509 of IPC for physical and sexual harassment thus demanding his immediate arrest.
Shri Tanwar stated with great surprise and concern stated that the victim teacher lodged complaint, in writing, with Shri Alok Verma, the then Police Commissioner on 28th December 2016 and inspite of lapse of more than 2 ½ months, no action was taken by the Police on account of her physical and sexual exploitation. Shri Tanwar raised this issue before the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal and Shri Amulya Patnaik, Police Commissioner, Delhi on 7th March 2017. It was only with the intervention of the higher authorities that a FIR was registered against Shri B. Shankar Babu Reddy, CEO, Delhi Cantonment Board on 10th March 2017 u/s 354 A / 509. Inspite of loding of FIR, Delhi Police has neither arrested the CEO nor bothered to call him for investigation. This lenient attitude of the Police helps the criminals to escape from the clutches of the law and the dignity of the women is put to stake.  If this is the attitude of the Police for burning issues like physical and sexual exploitation of the women, how the women can save their dignity from the real culprits of the society is a burning issue and matter of great concern.
Shri Tanwar through this publication stated that ever since CEO, Delhi Cantonment Board has taken over in 2015, since then the victim teacher is being subjected to harassment on various occasions viz. calling for lunch at his residence, calling for lunch at Chitrakoot Guest House are reflecting adversely on the sick mentality of the CEO. When the victim teacher made efforts to see CEO in his office, CEO denied to meet her, as he is well aware and afraid that installation of CCTVs all around will disclose  his misdeeds, so he flatly refuses to see in office. Since his wishes were not fulfilled and consequent upon lodging complaint , she was terminated after working for ten years without any notice or explanation, keeping aside all rules and regulations, which is really a very heinous crime, atrocities and shameful act.
Shri Tanwar further stated that the bitter memories of NIRBHAYA CASE held on 16th December 2012 is still alive in the heart of the common man, which forced every citizen to cry terribly. Thereafter many steps were taken at various higher levels to ensure  such incidents are not repeated in future. Shri Anil Baijal, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi also stressed for the welfare and security of the females. Not only this Shri Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police, Delhi has also laid emphasis and set up priorities for the welfare and security of women. Inspite of all this, a female teacher of Silver Oak Public School had been subjected to physical harassment and exploitation is awaiting justice, is really very shameful.
Shri Tanwar further categorically stated that the Hon’be Prime Minister of India, the most popular personality, has accorded his first priority  for Safety of Women, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and self respect of a women for protection of their dignity.  On the contrary the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party, Congress Party and the CEO and his goons along with other brokers or their agents may make number of efforts to malign the dignity of women, as he (Tanwar) will not allow anyone to  harass the victim anymore and ensure grant of justice at any cost. This is not a political issue but a cold war against atrocities and injustice to the victim.


Thus summoning up Shri Tanwar appealed to the Honble Home Minister , Shri Raj Nath Singh and demanded  immediate arrest of CEO, Delhi Cantonment Board so that other senior officers, who are culprits and responsible for exploitation of women may learn a lesson.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
