Liquor Smuggler Arrested

The team of Special Staff/West District has arrested a liquor smuggler Vinod Mittal, along with belong mentioned recovery, for Sale in Haryana only. In this regard, case FIR No 844/15 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act has been registered at PS  Nangloi.

PROFILE :  Vinod Mittal s/o Naresh Mittal r/o H No B 33, Yadav Park, Nangloi Delhi, Age 29 years. He has studied upto 9th standard. 
No previous involvement.

RECOVERY
·         34 Cartons of illicit Liquor (22 cartons (50 Quarters in each carton total 1100) of Asli Santra Masaledar Desi Saraab & 12 cartons (48 Quarters in each carton total 576) of Impact Grain whiskey.

DETAILS OF TEAM
The team of Special Staff was briefed to collect and develop inputs. HC Vinod Kumar of Special Staff West received a secret information about possible arrival of illicit liquor at Ramdev Park Camp No 2 Nangloi Delhi. On this, team of Special Staff comprising SI Charan Singh, ASI Ishwar Singh, ASI Bhawnesh Kumar,  HC Sunil Kumar, Ct. Sundar Lal, Ct Samunder & Ct Rajesh, headed by Insp Surender Singh Rathee, under close supervision of Sh Dinesh Kumar-ACP Operation Cell/West District was constituted. The team apprehended Vinod Mittal from Ramdev Park Camp No 2 Nangloi Delhi, along with above cited illicit Liquor.

INTERROGATION
During interrogation, he disclosed that he had stored spurious/illicit liquor for sale in Haryana for festival season at a profit of about of Rs 400/500 per carton. He used to supply the cartons to the local distributor in Nangloi & Prem Nagar Sulatn puri. Further investigation is on. The staff who have done the above good work is being suitably rewarded.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
