Gang of Robbers Led by Notorious Criminal Busted



Crime Branch has busted a gang of violent robbers with the arrest of two robbers namely Ved Prakash @ Chhotu @ Nipple (25 yrs) s/o Hari Prasad r/o E- 1/246, Nand Nagri, Delhi and Shadab (23 yrs) s/o Late Nanhe r/o C- 3/282, Nand Nagri, Delhi and worked out two cases including a sensational armed robbery case of PS Nand Nagri, Delhi.
INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION: -
        On 25/10/2015, Mohd. Sartaz r/o Sunder Nagri, Delhi reported that he was robbed of Rs.11,900/- and a mobile phone at gunpoint by four persons near E-Block mother dairy, Nand Nagri while he was returning home after collecting his daily payment. When he resisted, two of them stabbed him on his face and legs and all of them fled away after threatening him. A case vide FIR No.1096 u/s 394/34 IPC was registered at PS Nand Nagri, Delhi in this regard.
        A team led by Addl.DCP S.K.Singh, consisting of ACP H.M.Bakshi, Inspr. Subhash Vats, SI Lokender, HCs Sanjay, Pramod, Sudhir, Pawan, Cts Satender, Neeraj, Ajay, Ghanshyam and Ankit was constituted under the supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to nab the criminals involved in such crime. The team received information that a gang of robbers led by an active BC of PS Nand Nagri is involved in such crime. The information was further developed. Accordingly, a trap was laid at bus stop (route No.212) of Nand Nagri and accused persons namely Ved Prakash @ Nippal @ Chhotu and Shadab were nabbed at the pointing out of the informer.
On sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they alongwith their associates namely Shivam, Shanu and Rahul Pahri have committed the above mentioned robbery. The gang is led by accused Ved Prakash who is a history-sheeter of PS Nand Nagri. They distributed the robbed money among themselves and the robbed mobile was given to Shanu for disposal. One mobile phone was recovered from Ved Prakash which was found stolen vide FIR No.61/15 u/s 380 IPC, PS Hari Nagar, Delhi.

1.           Ved Prakash @ Chhotu @ Nipple (25 yrs) s/o Hari Prasad r/o E-1/246 Nand Nagri, Delhi is a 7th class school dropout. He has been previously involved in 10 criminal cases of robbery and theft.
2.           Shadab (23 yrs) s/o Late Nanhe r/o C-3/282 Nand Nagri, Delhi is 5th class school dropout and his father has already expired. He fell in bad company of history sheeter Ved Prakash and started committing Crime.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
