 DESPERATE LEADER OF INTERSTATE GANG OF ROBBERS ARRESTED.



INTRODUCTION: -
Crime Branch has arrested Tajdar Hussain Seikh, the leader of desperate interstate gang of robbers who is involved in more than 21 cases of robbery.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
        On 14.10.2015 at about 08:30 am, secret input was received by Inspr. Rakesh Dixit that desperate criminal Tajdar Hussain Seikh wanted in several cases of Delhi and UP, would be coming from Mumbai by Garib Rath train. The information was further developed and a team of Eastern Range led by DCP Dr. Rajeev Sharma and consisting of ACP Sukhwinder Singh, Inspr. Rakesh Dixit, ASI Jagdish Pal, HCs Nazir Hussain, Santosh Kumar, Mahesh Khari, Cts. Ishaq, Ashok Kumar and Tehjeeb Haidar was constituted under the overall supervision of Addl.CP Alok Kumar to nab the gangster Tajdar.
Accordingly, the team laid a trap at Nizamuddin Railway station. At around 10:00 am, the Garib Rath train reached platform No.6 and Tajdar was identified while he was de-boarding the train. The team followed him and kept a close watch over him. After 10-15 minutes, he took auto-rickshaw and as he reached Akshardham Temple, he was apprehended by the team.
MODUS OPERANDI: -
During sustained interrogation, he disclosed that he along with his associates Ehsaan Qureshi, Sumit Kumar and Sher Khan used to reach the targeted Bank, on motorcycles. Tajdar Hussain Seikh would enter the bank in decent dress and keep watch over people especially ladies and old who were withdrawing cash from the bank. After choosing the target, he used to inform his associates, waiting outside the bank. When the targeted person would move out of the bank they used to rob him.
He also disclosed that they used to communicate in code language whole committing crime viz. Bigha for Rs.1 Lac, Lura for Male, Luri for Female and Vila for Police.
INTERROGATION: -
During interrogation, he admitted his involvement in a robbery case of Ghaziabad U.P. in which he alongwith his associates had entered into a house in police uniforms and robbed cash Rs.40,000/- and Jewellery worth Rs.4 lac at gun point. On 30.03.2015, his associate Ehsaan Qurashi was arrested by the Ghaziabad Police after a brief encounter. In another incident, he alongwith his associates robbed Rs. 9 lac from a person who was coming out of bank after withdrawing money, in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP.
During interrogation, he also disclosed that he had committed several robberies regarding which following cases have been registered:-

PROFILE: -
Tajdar Hussain Seikh (39 yrs) s/o Inthkab, r/o Sirsi Mehmood Pur, District Sambhal, (UP), belongs to a very poor family and is illiterate. At the age of 10, he along with his father and brother went to Mumbai and started living in slums (Jhopad Patti) in Malad, Mumbai. At the age of 12, he started to learn stitching in Jogeshwari, Mumbai. Later on, he started stitching ladies garments in his own garment factory. He has two sons and one daughter. In the year 2009, he came to Delhi and started living in Sector-7, Rohini in a rented house, where he met his relative Ehsaan Qureshi, who was working as an inverter mechanic. He along with Ehsaan started business of Inverter batteries but due to loss in business, he along with Ehsaan Qurashi and another associate Sumit Kumar @ Guddu started committing crime with the bank customers.
Investigation of the case is in progress and their other involvements are being verified.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
