Gang of Robbers-Cum-Snatcher Busted

Team of Special Staff/West District has busted a gang of Robber-cum-Snatchers by arresting (1) Satender @ Hunny (2) Sunil Kumar and (3) Sunny Kumar. They have been apprehended on secret information, near B-1, Market Janak Puri New Delhi when they were coming on a Pulsar Motor cycle No DL 9S AG 7905. On their searching/ frisking 03 Mobile phones without SIM were found from Satender’s possession whereas two from Sunil and two from Sunny were recovered separately. At their instance two Scooties have also recovered which were found to be stolen from Paschim Vihar and Khyala area. Total 9 cases have been worked out. They have been arrested u/s 41.1(d) CrPC.
1.  Satender Singh @ Hunny s/o Sh Devender Singh r/o H No R-847 Mangol Puri Delhi. Age 32 Yrs. He studied upto 9th Std. He started committing robbery/snatching of mobile & cash for making easy money for his personal needs. He was earlier arrested in a snatching case.  After release from jail, he again started committing snatching by frequently changing his associates. Previous involvements: 07.
2.  Sunil Kumar s/o Om Parkash r/o R-850, Mangol Puri Delhi. Age 32 Yrs. He studied upto 10th Std. He is an electrician and not having any regular source of income. For making easy money for his personal needs, he started committing robbery/snatching of mobile & cash.

3.  Sunny Kumar s/o Sh Nareneder Kumar r/o B-2/307 Sultan Puri Delhi. Age 32. Yrs. He studied upto 9th std. He is not having any regular source of income. For making easy money for his personal use, he started committing robbery/Snatching of mobile & cash.

On the basis of secret information of ASI Bhawnesh, a team of Special Staff comprising of SI Charan Singh, ASI Ishwar Singh, HC Mohan Lal, HC Sashi Kant, HC Sunil, HC Vinod, Ct Sunder Lal, Ct Samunder and Ct Naresh headed by Insp Surender Singh Rathee, under close supervision of Sh. Dinesh Tiwari-ACP/Operation Cell, West District, apprehended the above said accused persons, near B-1, Market Janak Puri New Delhi.

During the course of interrogation, they disclosed about committing robbery, snatching, in area of Tilak Nagar, Moti Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Khyala, Nangloi, Punjabi Bagh, Mianwali Nagar & Paschim Vihar. They have got recovered the said articles. They pointed out the place of incidences. 


 Information to concerned Police Stations has been given for further proceeding in the matter/cases. Staff who have done the above good work are being suitably rewarded.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
