Total 500 Gram of Fine Quality Heroin Seized in Two Separate Incidents

Crime Branch has apprehended two drug traffickers namely Darshana w/o Late Manoj r/o Mubarak Pur, Delhi and Phool Babu (30 years) s/o Shri Biphai Shah r/o Jhuggi No. 285 Mata Sundari Road, Gurudwara, PS IP Estate, Delhi and and recovered 300 gram and 200 gram of fine quality heroin from their possession respectively. Value of the recovered heroin is Rs.50 lac (approx.) in the International market.

1.           In first incident, information was received by SI Karam Veer on 26.02.2015 that one lady named Darshana is indulged in sale & supply of heroin. The Information further entailed that Darshana would come near Peeragarhi flyover, Delhi to deliver a huge consignment of heroin to someone. A team of officers of Narcotics Cell led by Inspr. Kuldeep Singh consisting of SI Karam Veer, ASI Amla Mary, HC Kanwal Singh and Ct Sonu Tomar under the supervision of ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi and overall supervision of DCP M.A. Rizvi laid a trap at he given place and apprehended the accused Darshana (25 years). 300 gm of fine quality heroin was recovered from her possession and a case vide FIR No.23/15, dated 26.02.2015, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard.
2.           In second incident, information was received by ASI Narender on 27.02.2015 that one person namely Phool Babu, is indulged in sale/supply of heroin and he would come near Sunehari Masjid, Netaji Subhash Marg for delivery of consignment of heroin. A team of officers of Narcotice Cell led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak and consisting of ASI Narender Kumar, HCs Rajesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Ct Sonu Tomar under the supervision of ACP Ravinder Kumar Tyagi, and overall supervision of DCP M. A. Rizvi laid a trap at the given place and apprehended the accused Phool Babu and 200 gm of fine quality heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 25/15, dated 27.02.2015, u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard.

1.           Accuse Phool Babu disclosed that he belongs to Distt. Sivar, Bihar. His father had shifted to Delhi in year 2000. He is illiterate and his father is a rickshaw puller. He has two daughters. He had also worked as rickshaw puller and then worked at a PCO at Turkman Gate. Phool Babu was lured by one Salim in drug trafficking to make easy money. Salim was arrested in murder case in 2014. After arrest of Salim, Phool Babu started supplying heroin in Delhi to small retailers.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
