Notorious Gang Members of Sunil Rathi - Amit Bhuragang & Sunder Bhati Gang Arrested

A joint team of Special Cell, Delhi Police, led by Inspr. Manoj Dixit and Inspr. Shiv Kumar, STF/Dehradun and Noida police under  the supervision of Sh. Satyavir Singh, ACP, Special Cell, Southern Range, arrested three notorious wanted criminals namely (1) Vishwas @ Vishu s/o Devender Singh r/o Vill. Mansoorpur, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP, (2) Ajit Chaudhary s/o Virender Singh r/o Vill. Makhiyali, PS NaiMandi, Muzaffarnagar, UP and (3) ManojBhati@ Manji s/o Nepal Singh r/o MohallaTulsi Nagar, Dankaur, Gautambuddha Nagar, UP and one Pistol of 7.65 MM and two country made pistols alongwith6 live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

An information was received by Inspr. Manoj Dixit and Inspr. Shiv Kumar thatnotorious criminals of Sunil Rathi gang namely Vishwas @ Vishu and Ajit Chaudhary having reward of Rs. 5000/- on each by Uttrakhand Police are active in the area of Delhi and NCR. In August 2014, Ajit Chaudhary, Amit Bhura, Vishwas @ Vishu and others opened indiscriminate firing at gangster ChinuPandit and his accomplices soon after he was released from jail. In the 5-minute-long gunfiring, the assailants used 9 MM automatic pistols. The persons who were killed were identified as TarunTyagi, Raman Marwah and Lokendra Bhardwaj. ChinuPandit escaped unhurt in the incident. Pandit initially worked in Rathi's gang but later went on to form his own gang. The move did not go down well with Rathi, who allegedly planned his murder. On the complaint made by ChinuPandit. A case vide FIR No. 243/14 u/s 147/148/149/307/302/120B IPC, PS Gangnahar, Roorkee, Uttrakhand was registered in this regard. Amit Bhuraalongwith 3 of his associates were arrested in this case and Vishwas @ Vishu and Ajit Chaudhary were absconding since then.

Amit Bhura, a notorious criminal who was in judicial custody in the above said case, also escaped from custody on15.12.14 in the area of Bagpat, UP, when he was being taken to the District court from Dehradun Jail. The associates of notorious NeerajBawania rescued Amit Bhura from the custody of police by throwing chili powder in the eyes of the police party. They had also taken 2 AK-47 and one SLR rifle of police party. A case vide FIR No. 575/14 u/s 395/397/332/353/323/223/224/34 IPC was registered at PS Baghpat, UP.

A special team of Special Cell/SR was constituted to track the absconding accused persons Vishwas @ Vishu and Ajit Chaudhary which was working with close co-ordination of STF/Dehradun led by SI RB Chamola and Crime Branch/Noida Police led by Inpsr. Anil Kaparwal. The team members worked hard day and night for more than 2 months. Informers were also deployed to work upon the information and develop it further.

  On 23.02.2015, Inspr. Shiv Kumar received specific information that accused persons Vishwas @ Vishu and Ajit Chaudharyalongwith their another associate MonojBhati @ Manji would come near KalindiKunj area of Delhi to meet their associate. On this information, a joint raiding team including Special Cell/Delhi Police, STF/Dehradun and Crime Branch/Noida Police laid a trap nearKalindiKunjpark. At about 12:35 PM, accused persons Vishwas @ Vishu, Ajit Chaudhary and MonojBhati @ Manji were overpowered. During their personal search one Pistol algonwith 6 live cartridges from Ajit Chaudhary, one country made pistol alonwith 3 live cartridges from Vishwas @ Vishu and one country made pistol alongwith 3 live cartridges from ManojBhati were recovered. Accordingly, a case under appropriate sections of law was registered at PS Special Cell, New Delhi.

          Ajit Chaudhary s/o Virender Singh r/o Village Makhiyali, PS NaiMandi, Muzaffarnagar, UP was born in the year of 1986. His fatherVirender Singhis a farmer. He has one younger brother namely Gautam. After 12thhe left his studies and started farming. He got married withAnnu r/o Haridwar, Uttrakhand.  Accused Ajit Chaudhary is involved in 6heinous casesattempt to murder, arms acts etc. registered at different police stations in UP. From his common friends he came in contact with Sunil Rathi and Amit Bhura and joined their gang.


Vishwas @ Vishu s/o Devender Singh r/o Village Masoorpur, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP was born in the year 1988. His father Devender Singh is a farmer. He has one elder brother namely Vikas. He left his studies after 12 standard and came in contact with bad elements of his area and joined the gang of Amit Bhura and Sunil Rathi. His involvements are being verified.


          ManojBhati @ Manji s/o Nepal Singh r/o MohallaTulsinagar, Behind State Bank, Dankaur, Distt. Gautambudhnagar, UP was born in the year 1988. His father Nepal Singh is a farmer. He left his studies after 9th standard and started working with his father. Later on, he started his own business of property dealing. During this period, he came in contact with Sunder Bhati and joined his gang. ManojBhati was also harbouring accused Vishwas @ Vishu and Ajit Chaudhary in his Farm house as per his disclosure. His involvements are being verified.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
