Desperate Contract Killer/Snatcher Arrested

With the arrest of a desperate snatcher/History Sheeter/P.O Special Staff East has solved a case of Attempt to Killing of a Doctor on contract The criminal arrested is:

  1. Abdul Wazir @ Sikander s/o Abdul Rashid r/o H.No. 522, Gali No. 10, Mandoli Extension, Harsh Vihar, Delhi age -24 yrs.


           On Dated 11/02/15, Dr. Afaq Hussain Ansari who runs a private clinic in Radheyshyam Park, Khureji Khas, Jagat Puri, Delhi was going to his home from clinic on his bike. Near Shahdara Police Station, he was intercepted by two criminals on a bike and was shot by unknown criminals from a close distance. He survived the attack and was hit by bullet on lower abdominal area. In this regard a Case FIR No. 98/15 u/s 307/34 IPC PS Shahdara was registered.

           
Taking into account the gravity of the case, the Special Staff of East District also deployed sources in the area. It was gathered through informers that the desperate criminals behind this shooting incident are resident of Harsh Vihar area. A team under the leadership of Insp Manoj Pant comprising of SIs Vinay Yadav, KK Sharma, Arun Sindhu, ASI Ajaypal, HCs Manoj, Parveen, Pawan, Bijender, Santosh, Jagsoran Cts. Deep Chand, Ravinder, Anangpal, Shyam Singh, Saleem, Praveen etc. was constituted under the overall supervision of Sh Y.K. Tyagi ACP Operations East District.
                  Surveillance and monitoring was kept on the activities of the criminals. In the mean time on dated 19.02.15 secret information was received that one of the criminal will come in the area of PS Anand Vihar to meet someone. On this information Special Staff team at around 0800 AM apprehended Abdul Wazir @ Sikander. He confessed to commit the shooting incident of Shahdara. Accordingly he has been arrested by Special Staff under appropriate provisions of Law.


            During interrogation he confessed that his associate Salman R/o Noor-e-illahi came out of Tihar Jail in the month of January 2015. He told him that Arif s/o Israel and Javed s/o Israel are in Tihar Jail along with their two other brothers and father in connection with a murder case of PS Mansarovar Park vide FIR No. 101/13 u/s 302 IPC PS Mansarovar Park, Delhi. Salman told Sikander that they will contact him from Tihar Jail on his mobile number. Arif and Javed contacted Sikander  when they came to court and told him regarding one person namely Dr. Afaq Hussain Ansari who is a relative of deceased who was killed by Arif, Javed and others and told that he is very much pursuing that case and is taking keen interest in the case. They told Sikander that if he and Salman intimidate Dr. Ansari by firing on him either he would die or if he survives he will get scared and due to this act of threatening he will not pursue the case and other witnesses will also get scared and they will get bail. Abdul wazir got an offer of Rs. Three Lacs from jail to shoot Dr. Ansari.
           Further for commission of this act on 11.02.15, accused Abdul Wazir along with absconding accused Salman fired at Dr. Ansari and tried to kill him.

The accused Sikander is Proclaimed Offender in Five following cases of Snatching, Extortion and Theft.

1.    Case FIR No. 11/11 u/s 379 IPC PS Bhajan Pura
2.    Case FIR No. 22/11 u/s 482 IPC PS Bhajan Pura
3.    Case FIR No. 622/10 u/s 379 IPC PS Bhajan Pura
4.    Case FIR No. 421/10 u/s 356/379/411 IPC PS Bhajan Pura
5.    Case FIR No. 590/10 u/s 327/379/411 IPC PS Bhajan Pura



  1. Abdul Wazir @ Sikander s/o Abdul Rashid r/o H.No. 522, Gali No. 10, Mandoli Extension, Harsh Vihar, Delhi, aged-24 years. Married. Proclaimed offender in Five cases of PS Bhajanpura. He is also a History Sheeter of PS Harsh Vihar. He is married and having one child. He has studied upto class 8thand presently he is into part time business of sale-purchase of old mobile phones.

          The Special Staff police team of East Delhi which has done a commendable job is being suitably rewarded.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
