Lokesh Sharma Arrested in Secret Documents Espionage Case

During the course of investigation of 1st case FIR No. 17/15 dt. 18.02.15 u/s 457/380/468/471/120B/34 IPC, PS Crime Branch, Delhi registered regarding theft of official documents from Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, it was revealed that one Lokesh Sharma is involved in procuring/stealing official/secret documents from Ministry of Coal, Shastri Bhawan and Ministry of Power, Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, Delhi with the help of his associates, in connivance of some staff of these Ministries.

The accused was identified as Lokesh Sharma r/o Vijay Nagar, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. A raid was accordingly conducted after mounting surveillance over his activities and he was nabbed from Dwarka area alongwith two forged identity cards of the Ministries of Coal and Power and copies of various official/secret documents. A fresh case vide 20/15 u/s 457/380/465/468/471/411/120B/34 IPC has been registered at PS Crime Branch, Delhi in this regard and the accused has been arrested. Investigations further revealed that the stolen documents were being sold to some private energy consultancy companies. Efforts are on to identify/nab his other associates including officials.

          The team led by ACP KPS Malhotra consisting of Insprs. PC Yadav, Vijay Rastogi, SIs Sandeep, Vijay, HCs Kartar Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Narender Godara, Cts Brijesh, Ravi and Vijender has succeeded in nabbing the accused under the guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh and overall supervision of Addl.CP Ashok Chand.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi.
