Statement by Sr. B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA (Delhi Cantt.), Shri Karan Singh Tanwar

Today Senior B.J.P. Leader, Delhi State, Vice Chairman, NDMC and Former MLA (DelhI Cantt.), through a communication addressed to Shri Raj Nath Singh, Hon’ble Home Minister of India attracting his kind attention towards the suicide committed (consuming sulfas tablets) by an ex-army personnel, Shri Ram Kishan Grewal at Jantar Mantar while protesting for ‘one rank and one pension’ expressed his grief and concern and requested for constituting a high level committee to inquire, in depth, the whole episode.

Shri Tanwar stated that he is surprised as to why the enhanced pension issue was prolonged for such a long time?  This issue was not taken up seriously by the Congress & Aam Aadmi Party in the right perspective?  No action was taken up by Congress & Aam Aadmi Party parties during his life time and now playing drama as a part of their cheap and dirty politics. How may martyrs they had visited up till now after their sacrifice at borders and  now trying and making all out efforts to defame and malign the image of the Bhartiya Janta Party and the Central Government ? Instead of exploring the circumstances as to why Ex army personnel, Late Shri Ram Kishan Grewal took extreme step of committing suicide, his death is being politicized by hook or crook. Cooking bread on the corpse of the deceased army personnel is reflecting adversely and seriously on the ill-functioning and style of the Congress & the Aam Aadmi Party parties. This is not only extremely embarrassing but shameful act on their part.  Such political psychic leaders have no right to live with this type of mentality.

Shri Tanwar  terming it as a deep plot also alleged that he is doubtful whether this was a deliberate attempt of Aam Aadmi Party for his departure from Bhiwani purposely and then creating such circumstances and instigating him to commit suicide for their political gain, as they did earlier while a farmer, Mr. Gajendera from Rajasthan was brought from there and pushed in mouth of death. The Indian soldiers are very brave and they don’t take cowardice steps and always face the challenges even in extreme hazardous conditions bravely.  Shri Tanwar further stated that the issue of one rank and one pension could not be settled during the 40 years ruling period of Congress. It was the dream of Shri Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, to implement the long awaited issue of one rank and one pension. Modi Ji in a historical decision implemented it. Shri Tanwar also stated that the statement given by Shri Ram Kishan, ex army personnel before committing suicide that ‘they are denied justice is being meted out to soldiers’, can’t be swallowed. Therefore, it is extremely essential in the interest of natural justice that a high level committee needs to be constituted to inquire into depth, the circumstances under which he committed suicide, to ascertain the real cause and the people who are involved in it.

Shri Tanwar through this publication stated that Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Vice President of Congress and Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi have lost their trust and confidence. The country and the people are befooled by adopting tactics to confuse them with frivolous gimmick and engaged in shedding crocodile tears, as an effort to save their sinking ship. But now the Congress party can’t hide and befool the people of their mis-deeds committed during their reign and nor Aam Aadmi Party for non-fulfillment of their false promises and commitments. Shri Kejriwal has put at stake the membership of its 21 MLAs nominating them as Parliament Secretaries and further nominating 28 MLAs as President of ‘Arogya Nidhi’ / Patient Welfare Samitis thus enjoying office of profit by them.  The sword of declaring them as disqualified is hanging on them. Thus totally frustrated Shri Kejriwal is speaking rubbish and holding Shri Narender Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister resposible for his mis-deeds  just  to gain sympathy from general public in the event of fall of his government.

Shri Tanwar thus summoning up sincerely urged the Hon’ble Home Minister to kindly get the entire episode examined by constituting a high level committee in the interest of natural justice.
